I have been to Barnes & Noble's before previous cities, but not here in Fresno County. I decided to make a pitstop here because my family wanted some calendars for the house and what they had in other stores is very limited selection and my family was very specific on what they wanted. As soon as I enter, the store is books everywhere everything was clean product place in and the sales clerk helped me right away which I appreciated. I was just browsing in the calendar section which they have a lot of and luckily I found somebody put it in the wrong spot. I found the last K-pop demon on it calendar for 2026. That was on my families list of things they wanted. There was other calendars as well Harry Potter, Star Wars comics Snoopy you name it they had it. Went it right at open to get a CO2 refill on my way to work. Ended up buying a spare CO2 tank as…read morewell. Service was friendly and quick. The clerk carried the full tank out to my car for me. Then I saw it... flat tire. I jacked up my car to put on the spare and it wouldn't fit in the front. Apparently, my spare only fits the back tires, so I went back in to ask to borrow another jack... which they did let me borrow without hesitation. Jacked up the back side and go to remove the tire... and the whole car nudges forward and falls off the jacks. This is totally my fault, since I was so flustered that I forgot to loosen the bolts before I got it up in the air. We all know it, but they are too polite to call me out. At this point I think I'm going to have to call out a professional, even though I don't have the funds for that. Then one of the guys who works there offers to go home and grab his really good jack, which he does. ....anyway, there's quite a bit more to this story, and they went even further than this, but the bottom line is that all three of the guys who worked there went way out of their way to make sure I got on the road again. THAT's customer service! Thank you guys! I don't have much money right now, but I'm bringing mead for you to enjoy when I get it bottled. Wassail!

Ziveli Winery, Fresno, CA - December 6, 2025…read more We showed up at about 2 PM on a Saturday afternoon during the winery's Christmas celebration. There were lots of arts and crafts vendors there, and the parking lot was packed. Recognizing we might not have a spot to park, we parked out on the street to begin with. We walked in and saw the lovely vineyard grounds. There's a nice open patio area with nice lighting. They have a pizza kitchen and people were out front selling pies. It was very festive. We walked into the tasting room which was jam-packed. We told one of the wine pourers that we were with the Harvest Host. He directed us to be on the lookout for winery owner John, who was making the rounds greeting his guests. We got a couple flights of wine and sat down. Not long after, we spotted John behind the counter and went over to say hi to him. He is a super friendly and gracious host. He realized that the parking lot was pretty packed when we were there and told us that it would be clearing out a little later in the afternoon, so we did some wine tasting and chatted with John for about 15 or 20 minutes. We shared with John that we would be going to Croatia next May. He was super helpful in taking a look at our itinerary and giving us some feedback about things to be checking out while we're there. At about 4 PM, the parking lot cleared out and we pulled in our motorhome. It was a nice level spot looking out over the Vineyard. We had a very restful night's sleep. We definitely hope to come back again!

There were several vendors offering a variety of items, plus wood-fired pizza, which smelled amazing. Even though there were quite a few people, we were able to grab a table in the rustic barn tasting area. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and had a warm, festive atmosphere. We also had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, John, who was incredibly welcoming. We enjoyed a tasting of their wines, and bought a bottle of their delicious cabernet. Overall, a wonderful stop and a great experience."
