We kicked things off with a cider flight--our favorites were Early Harvest and Graveyard. Early Harvest was simple, crisp, and just sweet enough, while Graveyard reminded me of a Scottish smoky cider aged in whiskey barrels. I do wish there were a few more sweet options overall and possibly a current up to date list of what's on tap somewhere online, but everything was well-crafted and flavorful! To cool off, we grabbed a cider slushy (highly recommend!) and wandered the property. We visited the goats, strolled through the apple trees, and made friends with their big fluffy Pyrenees who was living his best life napping in the shade. I picked up a bottle of Early Harvest and a t-shirt to bring back to DFW. It was the perfect stop--relaxed, local, and a great way to start the afternoon before heading into Yosemite. After our tasting, we walked through some of the apple trees, visited the cutest goats, and made friends with their big, lazy Pyrenees dog who was living his best life soaking up attention. Went it right at open to get a CO2 refill on my way to work. Ended up buying a spare CO2 tank as…read morewell. Service was friendly and quick. The clerk carried the full tank out to my car for me. Then I saw it... flat tire. I jacked up my car to put on the spare and it wouldn't fit in the front. Apparently, my spare only fits the back tires, so I went back in to ask to borrow another jack... which they did let me borrow without hesitation. Jacked up the back side and go to remove the tire... and the whole car nudges forward and falls off the jacks. This is totally my fault, since I was so flustered that I forgot to loosen the bolts before I got it up in the air. We all know it, but they are too polite to call me out. At this point I think I'm going to have to call out a professional, even though I don't have the funds for that. Then one of the guys who works there offers to go home and grab his really good jack, which he does. ....anyway, there's quite a bit more to this story, and they went even further than this, but the bottom line is that all three of the guys who worked there went way out of their way to make sure I got on the road again. THAT's customer service! Thank you guys! I don't have much money right now, but I'm bringing mead for you to enjoy when I get it bottled. Wassail!

December 6, 2025 - Fresno, CA…read more "We stopped here as part of the Harvest Host program for RVers and was pleasantly surprised to find they were hosting a special event--a Christmas Market. There were several vendors offering a variety of items, plus wood-fired pizza, which smelled amazing. Even though there were quite a few people, we were able to grab a table in the rustic barn tasting area. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and had a warm, festive atmosphere. We also had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, John, who was incredibly welcoming. We enjoyed a tasting of their wines, and bought a bottle of their delicious cabernet. Overall, a wonderful stop and a great experience."

The winery is a beautiful open space with outdoor seating as well as some space inside. Wine prices are reasonable. We opted for the Orange Muscat as well as their sparkling wine. The gentleman who helped us recommended to mix the two. It was a great combo. Pizzas are available for sale as well. They're a little larger than a personal pizza, but I was able to finish it solo :) They have a dole whip type soft serve that pairs with their sparkling wine that's amazing. Definitely worth a try.
