She did a quick assessment to get an understanding of what services we actually needed. Our project was a small residential project that we thought was only important to us. Sam followed up within the hour and was able to give us an idea of when his team would be able to come out. Our timing was perfect because Sam worked us in between other larger projects and had Dalton and Dillon (yes that's correct) at our home within a few hours of our initial call. This is the third time we've used Flash Electric in the last few years and they always come thru. If you needed electrical work and didn't know who to trust? Now you do, call.....Flash Electric! He absolutely has a problem with women being in charge. I work a 40 hour job and my wife doesnt so we decided that she would act as the GC. So she is in charge. Well he does not like that at all. Then his feathers got even more out of shape when we decided to buy/install a generator. Mind you a generator brand that he does not sell. That set him off. Then came the issues with install. slow as molasses on a cold day. job could have been wrapped up in about 2 weeks but took almost 2 months. Only the quote was in writing. Make sure you get Flash to agree to ALL DRYWALL repair if needed. Almost every room in our house there was drywall damage. When we asked him about fixing it and what his process was he simply said he does NOT repair any drywall that they damage. NONE. Well to say the least that was the end of his service. We went round and round with text after text and at the end of the day decided to pay for the repairs. Well it was too late we had already gotten our drywallers scheduled for the next morning and we decided to just absorb the cost and be done with it. Well that set him off even more saying he was willing to pay and or repair the drywall. It had been a day or two since we first brought it to his attention so we felt he had ample time and opportunity to reverse his decision and offer to fix what his crew just messed up. 4 or 5 recessed lights that the hole were no where near where they were supposed to be. One of the holes was even too large with the worker admitting to my wife that he grabbed the wrong size! At the time we actually laughed it off thinking that that "mistake" would certainly be rectified. NOPE. Ive tried to keep this light hearted for my own sanity tho im sure it will not seem that way. All in all id give 2 stars. Flash Electric came to us as a recommendation though i absolutely could not in good conscience recommend further. This review had nothing to do with cost of this particular project. That will stay with us. Communication and the lack thereof due to inability to work with a woman. And the absolute flat out refusal to pay for repairs that his company were 100% responsible for.

We had an 18kw Generac installed in September, 2026. This company gave us a VERY reasonable…read moreestimate. We also read many reviews about their generator installations and the positive interactions between the installation crew with the homeowners. Almost every review was FIVE stars. This review is only regarding our experience with the installation crew that was assigned to our generator installation project. The concrete pad was put in place, leveled, and the generator placed on top in a quick and professional manner. The installer made the decision to lower the electric meter so he could put the Automatic Transfer Switch above it. He did an excellent job making that decision. It looked professional and we were impressed with the work. Since our gas meter is located over 20 feet away from the generator, the gas line was routed in the best possible way and also looked impressive when it was completed. The installation crew did a satisfactory job with the outside cleanup. The installation passed both electrical and mechanical inspections which were done two days later. HOWEVER, without going into detail, we gave this installation crew FOUR stars because they could have done a MUCH better job of communicating with the homeowners, as well as showing more consideration.

I recently purchased an electric vehicle (EV) and was looking to get a home charger installed. Duke…read moreEnergy has an EV charger prep program to get reimbursed for preparing your home or garage with said charger. They will reimburse up to $1,133. After extensively asking Duke all the questions to get this reimbursement, I asked for a list of contractors they have worked with. They gave me a list of 5+ electric companies. Go Green was the 3rd one I called and the only one that answered. Right away, they showed me elevated service. I explained the situation to them and they offered a free consultation to come check out my garage and give me an estimate for the EV charger installation. The very next week, Richie, the technician, came out and met with my husband to check out the space. The first estimate was a little more than what we wanted to spend (with one expensive part being the cost of the surge protector). My husband asked if we could provide the surge protector would Go Green supply the labor for installation. Richie said they could do that and also that he will come up with 5 different customizations of estimates based on different services and promotions. Richie left and within a few hours, the estimates were in my email inbox. I ended up choosing one of the mid-level ones and signed the invoice ocking in the price. Go Green had to order some parts so installation happened a little over 2 weeks later. Richie was the technician for installation too. It took him and his partner a little over 2 hours to install the charger. The city also needed to approve the charger so Richie said Go Green would handle the communication with them so they could come out. I did put in a request with him for a certain day and the city was able to accommodate. Once I received all my documents (the proof of EV registration, my paid invoice, and the approved permit), I applied for Duke's EV charger prep program. I was rejected about a week-ish later for not having an itemized invoice up to their standards. I immediately called Go Green and told them what happened and within the hour, they emailed me a new invoice which I re-submitted to Duke. Two weeks later, Duke emailed me approval for the program and two weeks after that, I received my check in the mail. This is a long review, but I wanted to explain the full process of working with Go Green to get approved for the EV charger prep program. I cannot recommend them enough. They are efficient and professional. I am extremely happy with their work!
