Larry showed us 5 to 6 plans and talked about the cost of each to determine what would be most cost effective for us since we informed them we plan on selling in a few years. Larry Jr was great to work with during the project. He informed of us of all progress and milestones daily. When we ordered a washer and dryer that would not fit he found other parts of the project to work on until we could get what would fit. From start to finish they took three weeks. Our project was definitely a large task in our eyes as they rerouted all the plumbing within a concrete slab. As you can see the finished project is beautiful and we are no longer embarrassed when someone requests to use our bathroom.

Main bathroom reconfiguration to add a large storage closet. Stair railing painting, chandeliers and powder room renovation. Closet system install and renovations. Work was completed Jan and I have continued to reach out to Martin for additional handyman tasks, security system install, shelving installation etc since I have moved into my new home.

We keep a running to-list and then call him to come out for a few days to do everything on the list. Most recently, we had him come in and patch up a hole in a wall, touch up some paint some areas, replace a sink, power wash our fence, fix some ceiling tile, out up solar lights and fix some squeaky drawers and doors. He does not cut corners, he even came back to touch up the drywall piece because he didn't love the way it came out initially. He even needed a new hose for the sink since the one we had was a little short and he picked one up on his way home that day to bring back the next day versus charging us while he went out and purchased one. He provides an estimate if requested, and does his best not to go over and not without a discussion first.

They put thick paper down to protect our existing flooring in the foyer and hallway, taped plastic to openings to other parts of our house to prevent the spread of sawdust, and moved furniture from both rooms. They removed the existing rugs, padding, tackless, and staples; these were boxed and bagged and put out for trash pickup. The sub-flooring was checked for new floor suitability. We verified that the flooring they picked up was the proper one (it was!). They put in screws to eliminate several squeaky areas, cleaned up all rip-out debris, and put down resin (?) paper before starting the install. Each strip of 2-1/4 tongue and groove hardwood was aligned and nailed down. Threshold and 1/4 round moulding was stained to closely match the flooring and properly installed. Scott and his crew removed all their tools, cleared all protective paper and plastic, checked for corrective repairs (touching up, setting and filling nail heads, etc.) to the new flooring, and moved back the furniture. Both rooms were completed the same day. Their work was a quality job, done professionally, and exceeded our expectations. Five stars and each one earned and deserved. (written by my dad, Lou G.)

Because they've been around literally decades, they had solutions to several issues they discovered in my house that was built in 1958 when not everything measured up. They brought to life my cherry hardwood floors in the dining room and laid a brand new floor in my family room. They were patient in cleanup and removed rugs and furniture as necessary. They used tarps and plastic to prevent dust damage throughout the house. Total pros who had a work plan and followed through. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Once you've found Gerald, you can rest easy and end your search. I've been working on my house for several months now. The intial plan was to meet a trustworthy contractor and have them to paint the entire house and tile the bathroom. I didn't meet Gerald right off, but instead met people that expected you to believe that a dog lays eggs and a hen actually barks. I mean, you wouldn't believe the tomfoolery you get when you appear to be a single, female homeowner; however, what those contractors didn't know is that I've been schooled by Property Brothers and the Joanna/Chip team at HGTV University, so I recognized the methane in the air right off. After countless meetings, I took on the painting myself, but I don't yet have my Master's from HGTV-U, so when it was time to retile the shower area and tile the bathroom floor, I had to call in backup. Gerald was a little difficult to reach at first, but once he completes your project, you understand that he's that good. Gerald was a pleaure to work with. He arrived promptly, kept the area clean, didn't kick my sneaky puppy when she kept running off with his sponges, finished a day earlier than anticipated and didn't rip me off or break the bank in the process.
