I gave my address and never heard back, so I moved on to another company. Today, 10 days after they never responded after I gave my address, while in the middle of a meeting, I hear a bang outside and my dog freaks out. I go outside to find two men with a ladder against the front of my house and climbing to the roof! I had no idea they were coming and they were fully on their way to climbing up my house without my permission! The problem wasn't even on the roof, so I have no idea what they would have done once they got up there. When I messaged the company to say I didn't appreciate them coming unannounced and unscheduled, I was told it was my fault for not specifying that I expected a call before they showed up! Wild. Do NOT send this company your address--even for an estimate--or else they may randomly show up to your house and climb up on your roof unannounced and they will go up there whether you are home or not. Then if it bothers you they will blame YOU!

I have found Marcy the owner is to be straightforward and honest, and though she can be a bit brusque at times, as she is in the Philadelphia roofing business I can understand. Their pricing is reasonable for quality of work. No roofer is cheap and if you apparently find one, don't trust them. We have a complicated roofscape (skylights, large AC unit mounts and penetrations, and major crickets required to clear drainage obstructions) and some leaking problems that predate our ownership. Castelli, and particularly their foreman Jimmy, have been generous in attending to drainage problems that may or may not have been a result of their work. I appreciate their work and the efforts made to help us negotiate our finicky roof.

The project had several issues: - Work was not completed as promised in a timely fashion. - Communication was difficult -- I often did not get responses to calls or emails towards the end of the job. On many occasions no one showed up to work. - I had to hire another contractor to fix parts of the job as cracked tile, plumping issues, electrical programs, kitchen floor sinking/ cracking from not leveling, shower floor cracked from not leveling, addition floor sinking, nails in addition rusted, paint not properly done throughout addition, nails in door jams showing, bathroom tub moves, and the house never passed inspection.

All i want is the what i paid for is quality of workmanship work completed as promised and a warranty being upheld. The century 21 cabinets are not working properly and will continue to get worse if not addressed as the job was incomplete. They left and never returned. They sub out the hvac and that became my problem due to three holidays in between our remodel. Days off , terrible weather and lack of finding good workers and availability of them. Unforseen issues that came about during the remodel that i was told was difficult to find good help from the owner and to be patient. As i was. I could question nothing. Then i got told otherwise due to time passed that was out of my control due to communication and knowledge issues with their workers that was not my issue as well that i am paying for now with the incomplete remodel which is not alot to ask. My cabinets need adjustments. Before they fail totally. The cabinet company doesn't respond neither it all goes thru them. There is no airflow since the remodel in the ducts they moved. Which again became an issue that now is my problem as i paid them in full and they never returned. This is heartbreaking and stressful. My ac bill is super high and inaccurate as they fail to return. My renovations included kitchen remodel( cabinets & counter), flooring work and whole interior painting cielings/wall including all doors and some exterior. His company also powerwashed the entire outside siding, driveway, porch and cleared gutters. Because of the previous tenant leaving so much clutter before renovations could start, his company additionally hauled away so work could begin on time. Furthermore this company doesnt take short cuts. They made several trips to get the proper matching siding needed for some damaged panels. Even though it took several days..they wanted to make sure it was perfect. My neighbors reported that the company worked morning until late evenings on several occasions. Extraordinary effort!
