His estimate was spot on and very fair. He finished on time, so the project is not dragged out. He is trustworthy and gives honest recommendations (which we followed - glad we did). We started out with a few small items and with the quality of work he was producing - we added on. Jerry managed the renovation of three areas of the first floor: A new front door, replacing the kitchen cabinets, along with a new quartz counter and new range hood and tiled backsplash; and a new rear 5-panel bowed picture window that opens. Estimates were provided for all work. As the homeowner, I was able to select all design aspects, and Jerry was careful. He also repainted the kitchen. read more

Jerry from Fresh Renovations is great. He's an honest, hard working, high-quality craftsman that has great communication and customer service skills. On top of that, he offers a very reasonable price. I had Jerry (as well as others) come out to provide quotes for replacing the shower and maybe installing a new vanity and mirrors. By and far Jerry's quote was the best and he didn't try to upsell me at all. For about a month I waited for other contractors to come out and wait for other quotes. Through that time I felt no pressure from Jerry to move quick or give him an answer. In fact, if I had any questions or adjustments I was interested in, he was always available to talk and adjust. After that month it became clear that we were going to want to switch from just a shower to a full bathroom remodel. Jerry very quickly pivoted, came back out to reassess, and provided a quote within a couple days. His quote was straightforward and reasonable. And after officially hiring him things got even better. As we went through the daunting process of designing the bathroom and picking out materials, Jerry was there to provide suggestions of good people to talk to. He pointed us to Audrey at Avalon Flooring in Deptford which could not have been a better recommendation. She helped us design what would become the bathroom of our dreams--and was a design far from anything we would've picked ourselves. And even with a good designer in our ranks, Jerry was still invaluable to provide his opinion whenever we had questions or apprehensions. As work started something I really liked seeing was that Jerry made it a point to interact with my kids. There was a stranger in our house every weekday and they quickly became comfortable because of Jerry's kind nature. His work was stellar. Every timeline we were given was spot on. He said the project would take 3 weeks and it took exactly that time. Throughout the process he told us what he was doing and why and what it would help set up. If there were any issues he told us right away (fortunately we had nothing major). He always had an answer and clearly knew what he was doing. Day by day we watched as our bathroom devolved down to the studs and then evolved into this beautiful room in our home. Every detail was done meticulously and the bathroom shows it. Finally (and maybe most important) is that Jerry's work ethic is top-tier. He was at our house at 830 every day and sometimes wouldn't leave until 530 or 6. I'd tell him he didn't have to kill himself for us but I get the feeling he takes pride in his work and wanted to do things right. He and his buddy even carried the 400 pound freestanding tub from my garage upstairs to our master bathroom! Top notch work done by Jerry to replace my kitchen sink and install a garbage disposal. He was timely, neat, courteous, and very reasonable. To top it off, he likes Motown music, so he can't be all bad. I will have Jerry back in the near future to do some bathroom remodeling. read more

Jerry came out and was very polite. He listened carefully to my list of wants/needs for my home renovation, and he made sure to take careful notes. He said that he would work up the estimate that weekend, which was two weekends back. Unfortunately, we never received any estimate. I tried to reach out to him but never heard back. Unless there is some family emergency or serious health issue, he could have gotten back to us (in which case I will remove this review). Folks, I try not to give a lot of five star reviews. This gentleman earned it in SPADES! Jerry responded to our request for an estimate with a quickness and actually showed up early. He took a look at several jobs, the major one being a total bathroom renovation. He gave me a ball park estimate right there, on the spot. It was below our budget, so we added on a few things. The very next day, I had an on-line document with an exact total. As the job went on, due to availability of materials, it changed a little bit, and Jerry adjusted the price up or down as appropriate. The work was tip top and he was very patient in explaining the process to us. He finished right on time and the bathroom as well as the side jobs look perfect! Lastly, he earned high praise from my neighbors for his courtesy, manners and good-will. The only reason I held off for 10 days to post this review is for me to give my friends first shot at this man who brings honor to a profession with too many dis-honorable purveyors. read more
