We had an appointment for Mr. Ward to come to my home on July 8 to provide an estimate, which I took off of work for. The appointment was canceled by them the day before because they stated that they didn't receive the covid questionnaire, which I replied to the previous day. I chalked this up to a miscommunication, and scheduled another appointment for today with Mr. Ward arriving between 10:30 and 11:30. This appointment was confirmed by his office manager, Brooke and I was sent a calendar invite. It is now 12:47, and Mr. Ward has not shown up nor have I received an email, text or call to explain. I have now taken off of work on two occasions for this appointment, and I wish that I was able to write this review on reliability, quality of work, etc., instead of the unprofessionalism of this company.

As soon as it was (relatively) safe for them to do the work, they came out & did it. Both gentlemen working in my house wore masks & gloves the whole time & the company took safety precautions before sending them out. The work itself was well done. I had a somewhat tricky drywall repair/install, and needed the floor for one room tiled. They worked efficiently & effectively, and were always willing & able to answer any questions. Everyone was extremely professional, friendly, and most importantly safe during a difficult time to get anything done safely. Price was good considering the quality of work done, and the work area was left clean. I'll be calling them again if I ever have any other projects.

Tim said he'd get back to me and let me know when he could get us on the schedule. That was a month ago. I can't speak the quality of their work, but I can objectively say there is a fair chance the company will waste you time and then not show you the respect of calling you back. I understand if they were too busy for the job or didn't want it for some reason, but not why Tim disrespected us, wasted our time, and acted unprofessionally by agreeing to do the jobs in the first place. I'd recommend starting with another contractor with more reviews and an established reputation of professionalism. Edit: (Post Owner Reply) My review of Hallmark is similar because I had a similar experience. I described my experience accurately and honestly in both cases. You didn't challenge any of the material details of my review. A semantic argument about the definition of "ghosting?" I don't consider you telling me you'd get me on the schedule after accepting your bid and then not scheduling the work "a mutual dodge." I consider it an objectively unprofessional waste of my time. You were secretly offended by me getting multiple bids on a large job? Really? At the time, you said it was fine. I guess that wasn't honest. The bottom line is, attention to small details makes or breaks a job when it comes to home renovation. When a contractor shows you they can't get large details right (Like remembering to schedule your job after meeting and multiple calls discussing the job), that speaks to how likely they are to get the small details of the work right. This fact is something that might inform a lot of people's decision when choosing a contractor. Thank you for admitting you dropped the ball.

Experienced, detail oriented Contractor…read more.. Rick Worley Home Improvement, LLC was initially hired to re-shingle our roof, replace the wooden fascia and gutters on our home. He was meticulous and did a wonderful job on the roof. The gutters were sub contracted out and they did a great job as well. Because of the quality of his work on the roof we then hired him to put up vinyl siding and 5 replacement windows. Again he did a great job. He is experienced and knows what he is doing, and is particularly attentive to details. We often talked to each other about how impressive his work ethic is and how detail oriented he is. He cleaned up after himself everyday before he quit for the day....and when the job was finished he cleaned up so well that you would barely know a contractor had been in. Because of changes we made to the contract and the fact that he worked alone the job took longer than we had anticipated. However, the quality of the finished job more that makes up for the extra time. His prices on both contracted jobs were fair and in line with other estimates we had received. He was honest, fair and more than qualified. Do not hesitate to consider Rick Worley for your contract work. I'm pretty sure you will not be disappointed.
