Found this guy Stephen on Craigslist and texted him photos of my garage issue. He asked if my…read morespring was broken and said he'd come by the next day at 9:00 AM. By 10:30 AM, I texted to see if he was still coming--no response. At 12:00 PM, I called and it went straight to voicemail. Thinking maybe it was a phone issue, I called from another number and the phone rang immediately and he answered. As soon as I asked whether he was still planning to come by my condo as promised, he hung up on me. This is some of the worst customer service I've experienced. My job was likely a smaller repair, and it sure feels like once he realized it wasn't a big payday, he chose to block me and blow me off instead of just being honest or canceling. If you value basic communication and professionalism, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

When he did show up, it would be late in the day and he'd work in the dark which resulted in very sloppy work. What should have been a two day job actually took weeks. I rarely leave a bad review for a business but his poor communication, sloppy work, failure to show up consistently, and bad finished product made me feel like I have to warn everyone.

Since I live out of state, clear communication and reliability were extremely important to me, and Mike delivered on both. I had an exterior door that wasn't sitting correctly. Several other companies told me the door needed to be fully replaced, but Mike took the time to assess the issue and was able to fix it by making adjustments, adding new weather stripping, and properly sealing it. The door now fits tight and functions exactly as it should. My tenant was very happy with the result, especially knowing it's now sealed well enough to keep scorpions out. Mike was communicative, timely, and his pricing was very reasonable. I would absolutely recommend East Valley Home Services and Repair and will be using them again in the future.

In January 2022, I requested quotes for installation of wrought iron fencing. I originally called…read moreAll-Pro Fence & Gates, but they said they were remodeling and were not doing wrought iron fence installations at the time, so they referred me to Diamond Iron. Rudy, from Diamond Iron, came out in a timely manner and completed a detailed quote. The detailedness of the quote is a significant reason I chose Diamond Iron for the install. Rudy was friendly and informative, answering all of my questions. Rudy said they would be able to do the install in about 2-3 weeks, but I ended up receiving a call a week later saying they were able to start. I had to have them wait, because the utilities hadn't been marked yet. Rudy said the install would take 1-2 days, but it actually took about 5 1/2 days to complete (that was of no concern to me). The quote was for 267' of fencing along with a 40" gate made of iron and wood slats and a 42" iron gate, total project cost was $15,376. The cost included the removal and disposal of the existing 267' of wire and wood post fence and two gates that were in place. I did find the price to be high, in my opinion, but it was in line with the second quote that I received. I called four fencing companies for quotes. One never responded, one said they wouldn't be out for 30 days (I signed with Diamond Iron before they came out), the other came out right away and their price was $2,500 less than Diamond Iron's, but I felt their quote and attention to detail wasn't there, so I went with Diamond Iron. Installation took place in February. Two guys came out (I believe it was Israel, and I don't recall the second guy's name). They were both friendly. They reviewed the project with me and I checked on their progress periodically. The first two or three panels went in fine, and then I was doing something else and noticed later that the next 5-6 panels were installed low, almost flush with the ground, which I didn't want. I told them to ensure a larger gap with the remaining panels, which they did. The remaining fence panels were installed without issue. I even had them create two fence panels that were removable, in case I needed to allow for vehicle access at some point in the future. The remaining fence panels were all welded into place. I am happy with the outcome of the fencing project. I would recommend Diamond Iron for any wrought Iron fencing project.
