No show times posted. Amateur staff. They sold more tickets than they had seats. Not at all well run.

Not my favorite movie theatre, to be honest. It's a little outdated and everything feels like it's…read morebeen touched too many times. The surfaces look sticky, and there are trails of stepped-on popcorn ground into the carpet. The seats do not recline, so expect an old-fashioned movie-going experience. Although, I've read that if you see a movie in the Dolby theatre, the seats are better, so your mileage may vary. One of the good things about this movie theatre is that it serves beer and wine. I didn't get any during my visit, but maybe I should have. The soft drinks are dispensed at a machine off to the side, and you can pick your flavor of soda. Another neat thing that I noticed: You can order your concessions ahead of time, and they will be ready to be picked up at a little nook off to the side. This would come in handy if you want to skip waiting in line! I don't usually order food at a movie theatre, but I had some food credits burning a hole in my pocket, so I got chicken tenders, mini chocolate chip cookies and pretzel bites for my child. My child originally wanted the Bavarian pretzel, but we were informed that the pretzel is as big as a steering wheel, so we opted for the pretzel bites instead. Who is buying soft pretzels as big as steering wheels? That seems obscene to me. Just make them a normal size? The chicken tenders were actually really good. Maybe my expectations were low for these chicken tenders, but they were fresh and crispy, and you get six big tendies in an order, with your choice of sauce (I chose honey mustard). The mini cookies were served warm, but they tasted a little weird -- almost like they were baked on a pan that had something else on it previously, like chicken tenders. As far as the movie theatre itself: We must have been in one of the smaller theatres, because it felt a little tight in there. But the sound was great, and the temperature was decent, and we generally had a good time.

This was actually my first time coming to this location and I'm afraid it's my last. I am going to…read morestick to AMC traders pointe for the time being as ALL of their theaters have the updated recline seats. Why on earth do the seats at Perry Crossing force you to sit up straight like you're in the army? Or some etiquette class? I'm not sure if it's only some theaters like this (our movie was showing in #9). I was absolutely uncomfortable the entire movie. Outside of that, it was clean & the movie quality wasn't janky (trust me I've been to a regal theater & the picture was "ashy & pixelated" like they were showing us a bootleg version ).

It was probably inevitable that someone who's a professional film critic would eventually check out…read morethe movie theater located on the way to cleaning out his recently passed father's home. That's Regal Shiloh Crossing, an Avon, Indiana 18-screen cinema that has been fairly well updated. There's an IMAX screen, 4DX, and other luxury options including luxury reclining seats. While I know this is an older theater, it's for the most part kept clean and looked pretty spiffy to me (I wonder if I'm the first Yelper to use "spiffy" in a review?). The employees were all friendly. Accessibility is strong here with accessible parking, appropriate curb cuts, and accessible seating options nicely done in the auditorium-style theaters. Regal offers a rewards program and an unlimited movie subscription option (2D movies). At one point, it really seemed like Regal was declining as a chain. Theaters like this one give me some hope. It's not perfect. I wouldn't call it a destination theater, but I do think it serves this community well. There aren't a lot of options around Avon other than the screenings at Danville's Royal Theatre. It is worth noting that after 8pm anyone under the age of 17 has to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian - I think this has helped solve a lot of past complaints as the theater really used to be a gathering space for teens in the area. While my time is winding down as I get closer to resolving my father's estate, I wouldn't hesitate to return here if in the area or if friends on this side of town wanted to see a movie. While it's not Central Indiana's best theater, it's a good option for those living on the westside of Indy or in Hendricks County. Alamo Drafthouse by Lafayette Square does draw some westside folks, but for those for whom that's too long of a drive this is definitely a solid option.

Reclining seats, however, be certain to get your chair in place before the movie because some of…read morethe chairs make a noise as they recline. I'm guessing it's because of their age or the material has begun rubbing against itself. Whichever the case please recline before the show! We were able to attend this evening to see The Long Walk, which was very graphic and I turned away from the screen often. I should have been prepared I suppose since it's written by Stephen King, but with recent events that have happened it was too much for me. It is nice that you can preselect your seats.

If you're entering after 5 pm, you should use the south entrance to the museum, since the canal north entrance is locked. Tickets can either be bought at the ticketing counter or online, but online tickets are also scanned in here to check in. Then, the concessions counter is right by there. The prices for concessions are a little steep, but nothing outrageous. You can enter the theater from the first or second floor. The theater is pretty steep, so there's a bit of stairs depending on where you need to go. There is accessible seating at the very top row of the theater with companion seats. The seats are fairly comfortable but the rows are spaced kind of close, so you can feel people bumping your seat if they are moving about even pretty normally. The seats also don't recline much either. Picture posted to this review is the point of view from row K. Overall it was a good experience and I'd possibly be back.

It's happy to have a nice theater back on the westside. I'll definitely be back to Alamo!
