Horrible business practice not only because it ensures sales will go down, but it is also of very bad taste to close costumers credit cards without notice as it impacts costumers credit scores. This is very dumb as I'm sure a simple costumer service call or notice before closing the account would actually motivate most of the costumers to purchase to keep the card. My credit score is 800+. My initial experiences with Crate & Barrel throughout the years were already horrible, let alone this inexplicable practice of closing a credit card without prior notice due inactivity. My husband is a regular costumer and will cancel his. We won't purchase anything there anymore. Treat your costumers with respect and consideration.
