Two months later, a rep from corporate is calling me, accusing me of causing the damage on the rental car, which I clearly did not do. both Avis corporate and this Avis site have been extremely unhelpful and uncooperative and sharing any of the vehicle inspection records associated with my rental that would clearly show that I do not cause any of the damage that they accused me of being very aware of renting from this Avis they clearly do not care about your customer satisfaction, and you can be charged a large repair bill for damages that you did not do. I'm not sure why the staff seem so frustrated, but I've been made to feel uncomfortable simply for choosing to rent here. On multiple occasions, I've waited hours for a car, received defective vehicles, or made reservations only to arrive and find no car available. This location made me feel very uncomfortable. I strongly encourage Hertz to invest more in customer service training. At this point, I'd rather pay more to go elsewhere.

Rented an EV for the week…read more The first Tesla was a red one, it had some pieces of the steering wheel gone, it had pieces of the interior trim that was all coming off or was never properly seated and the tires were completely bald too. Not a safe ride at all. The vehicle upon further time inside of it was absolutely unacceptable for a rental. We took it back the next day, but they didn't have any other Teslas to replace it with at all. First we were sent to Plymouth to take it back. We had to go all the way to the airport to get another Tesla to replace the original rental agreement. My husband reached out to Hertz via email to let them know about the first unsuitable rental. After that, the negotiation was minimal, the sales process simple, and the registration/titling was all handled thoroughly.
