Pete and his crew did an excellent job on the exterior renovation (new roof, siding, windows, and…read moregutters) of our home. The crews showed up on site, when he stated they would and worked straight until they completed the entire job, including Saturdays. Their attention to detail, was incredible, they even went as far as matching the color of the gable vents to the new siding vs the standard white vent on every other home. All holes and corners were filled or caulked with color matched caulk. Every fixture had a white mounting block installed. They used high quality material and the installation was spot-on. At the end of the job, Pete did a full walk-thru with us and identified a couple minor 'punchlist' items. His crew came back the next day to address the issues. Pete even sent his guys back a few months after their contract was complete to add a dryer vent on our addition that I forgot to ask for while they were here. Their estimate, contract, and payment terms were clear and fair. We are very satisfied with the work completed by PJ Sullivan Exteriors and the timeframe in which it was completed. I signed a contract with Peter Sullivan, PJS Builders on Feb 27 with a start date of March 18 and gave Pete a deposit of almost $10k He was quick to come and get a check After a multitude of excuses he finally had his guys show up on May 1. They did 1 day of work and almost covered the deposit. 9 interior doors. primed. I had to call over and over to get a hold of Peter and schedule the work. Needless to say they were over 6 weeks past the start date After the 1 day May 1st ALl I kept hearing was they were backed up with other jobs and a million excuses. We were finally going to schedule July 8 but AGAIN a multitude of excuses like this 1 Peter: We are still working off our back log of work. We are going to be back on schedule with everything in about 2 weeks. However, my best install crew goes on vacation 7/27 until 8/12. So now its ANOTHER 6 weeks so from March 18 we are now mid August 5 months later with only 1 day of work done. Finally I had enough and got the difference in my deposit back and had then change a lock which they installed improperly STAY away from this guy/company. He says 1 thing and does another. NO regard for the customer. From I'm away on my 60th bday golf weekend in Vegas. to I have diverticulitis, to we are backed up. I have never heard so many excuses before. The sales person is very responsive and gave reasonable price for the roof shingles replacement. He…read morewas noticed that while there's is still time for the roof life(15 y.o.) the insurance company is putting pressure to replace it.... Since agreed to the terms of the contract, workers came in very fast. they ripped the old shingle also fast, but didn't put huge tarp to handle the debris: they had small parts of tarps laying on the ground and throwing old shingles on them, I would say 80% hit the target. Of course bad wood was found, and a new charge came with it. Sales person was playing the game of forgetting what his manager just told him to charge, and that's the way I've got a huu-u-uge discount of $200 off the additional charge. During the replacement workers damaged the plants around the house,even though were SPECIFICALLY asked not to,siding and gutters that they were STEPPING on!!!!!!. After they left,the sales person was invited to see the"battle field": all grass and bushes around the house were full of sharp wooden chips,huge amounts of the old and new nails. Some of the shingles were nailed to the roof and not sealed. The junk from the driveway was removed by.... leafblowers. Bottom line: service -BAD, after showing sales person all the damage - not even a plant ( rose) was suggested to replace, even after they returned and I was helping them with my magnet I have found many leftover nails, the impose HEALTH THREAT to my kids, and others.
