We found out about Eric from friends who had a very positive experience with him. and their puppy. He had great insight into our puppy as a rescue and specifics about his breed. He was reliable and very flexible with our schedules. I can't say enough about how happy we are with the results and the skills that both we and our puppy learned. We have already recommended Eric at Alpha K-9 to friends who are adopting.

I knew he'd be safe and well cared for, but wasn't sure how he would be since it was his first time away from both of us. He's reactive to other dogs and cautious around new people. When they sent we a picture of him on his walk, I was so relieved because he looked happy. And was told that he ate his dinner too. Thank you Alpha K9 for taking such good care of Jax.

It is clean and pets well taken care of. Only concern is / was / at that time ( maybe changed now) all the cats are held together in one large room but it has wonderful cat furniture. Only my two cats were there, but for my spoiled paranoid older cat, it was a challenge. I would have no problem returning, if not for the older cat. The other two seemed to have a great time. The owner is also very nice, and finally is very conveniently located for where I live.

We struck out at various other pet boarding facilities -- they were booked, had big demands like our dog stay with them for the day before they could stay overnight, which I kind of get -- but it was too hard for us to do. I'm REALLY glad we held out for Pampered Pooch. Kiki warmed up instantly to Eric -- she ALWAYS had growled at strangers, except for the vet herself. Eric kept us posted on how she was doing. We were so grateful to have PP for our following, longer trip. We felt comfortable knowing she was being well cared for. When my husband picked her up, she'd been playing constantly with a couple of other dogs her size. Very pleased and not trusting anyone else with our dog. The grounds are spacious and well cared for, too.

They are genuine, attentive, caring, professional and experienced. If I could rate them higher than a five. It would be "Out of the Ballpark". I highly recommend Bruce and his family at Kona Dog Care. Mahalo Bruce!
