I'm sad to see how bad this place has become since the change of management post-pandemic. The new people have no clue what they're doing in terms of making hookahs. The hookah lacks flavor now and it's very poorly made. We tried the same flavors that we used to love before and they all taste bad. It's heavily overpriced now. I can totally make better hookahs at home and have resorted to doing exactly that now. Memphis once again lacks an authentic Mediterranean hookah place. read more

After a horrible first Hookah experience in Memphis, this place saved the day! Awesome experience, great hookah, and awesome service. The young owner duo was hospitable and very welcoming. Being an avid hookah connoisseur from New Orleans, my favorite flavor is scarce in New Orleans and much to my disbelief, they were able to provide it and send me home with three boxes of shisha! Great place! Not expensive and amazing shisha! No 1000% mark up like other "lounges". They use great coals (not the cheap disc self lighters like some other places I have reviewed in Memphis) and the tobacco choices are good. The atmosphere is comfortable and they make a mean Turkish coffee. The staff is nice and attentive to their customers especially with coal refills...didn't even have to ask for them they just came! 2 words to describe this establishment mediocre And expensive. First thing it was empty at 11pm when I walked in. I got the spiced chai by (fumari) with blue mist (star buzz). They made it in a tiny bowl and gave it to me without starting the Shisha. They did not care if I liked it or not or didn't even bother to ask if everything was ok. They just dumped it in front of me and went away. Coming to the Shisha, they served the spiced chai in a Shisha which was previously used for double Apple and all I could taste was double Apple as spiced chai is a mild flavor. Anyone that sells that flavor knows that. I smoked for 15 mins and decided to leave as the Shisha was horrible. I asked the arrogant lady at the counter for the check and if they charged more for a bigger bowl. She said no and didn't even bother asking if I was satisfied with the money I spent. But whatever. When I saw the check, I asked them for what were they charging me $25.83, she said fumari is the most expensive flavor we have and it cost $21 plus tax. For the size of bowl and the amount of flavor used, I wouldn't have paid anything more than $5. But I decided to cut my losses and walk away. Would strongly recommend not going there unless you have extra money to throw away. Just as a background about me, I have smoked Shisha is more than 10 different countries and 30 different states in USA. Heck the first Shisha I ever made was better than the one I smoked last night. I gave four stars because this hookah lounge is very clean. The staff is nice but does not come to your table often to see if you need any help or have any questions about anything. I had to motion to get someone's attention. So paying attention to customers is an issue that I have with them. Also they have a huge selection of hookah. That's a plus. Now on to smoking the hookah.... I would not say I am a pro at it but I have never experienced as much coughing as I did when I used their hookahs. I have no idea why that occurred. I'm not sure if they need to clean their hoses or possibly change the coals more often but something needs to be done. My friend and I decided to get an ice bucket to see if that would help. It did for a while but the coughing and itchy throat continued. Since this experience, I have no desire to smoke hookah for a while. The staff did not have an issue smoking their hookahs but many customers were coughing as well and complaining about the exact thing as us. The music could be a tad louder as well. It was too low when I was there. Other than that I would recommend this place to others. Just remember to have patience while there. read more
