Very outdated decor, rugs ripped, seats worn. Lo Mein too soaked in soy sauce to enjoy. Kung Po was crispy, food was okay.

I was in the area for yet another specialist appointment and was not feeling in the best spirit…read more Since it was a fasting appointment, I was pretty hungry so the hubby brought me here. I don't know if I was starving, unhappy or what but this place and meal hit the spot and hit it hard. I thought I deserved a drink so I got a Guinness, which was thankfully on tap so yah! I got the bourbon steak tips with steak fries and opted for a garden salad instead of the green beans - yes, yes, and yes! Steak tips were perfectly flavorful and cooked just right for my taste. I really wanted fries and (unlike some of my family/friends) I actually like steak fries and they were cooked up just the way I like'em (crisp outside, not too mushy on the inside). The salad though, yah it was basic and yet not - all kinds of different colored tomatoes which actually had great flavor to them, and it was not just a couple but quite a few and they were "fresh". That is basically what I loved about the salad - not your typical anemic looking/tasting salad but with mixed greens (not just lame looking iceberg) and full of other veggies. The server also could not have been nicer (like I said I went through a lot that day so seeing a friendly face was nice) and always checking on us. I think we made a great choice in stopping here - it was a 4:30 on a Tuesday and it was busy. Good sign!

Bottom line... it doesn't get much better than Dillon's Local…read more My only gripe is that it's a little small, so if your timing isn't right, you might be waiting for a table -- but honestly, that's part of the charm. It has that cozy hometown pub feel: sports on, music playing, and a great local vibe. The staff treats you like you've been coming in for years, making you feel like a regular right away -- and that's definitely a good thing. Homemade comfort food that hits on every level, a delicious menu from top to bottom, and a drink menu that complements it perfectly. And by the way... the Guinness pours well!

Had a reservation on Easter Sunday for 2:00, came in around 1:45 and we were sat right away…read more Ordered the buffalo wings, clam chowder, and a small ceaser salad which were all amazing. For entrees my wife got the poke bowl and I got the bbq pulled pork sandwich. After finding a small discrepancy with my sandwich I informed my server and told him I'd eat the sandwich anyway to which he insisted it be remade. The sandwich was remade swiftly and I had my new sandwich in no time. I highly recommend the poke bowl and bbq pulled pork sandwich as they were very good. The manager even came over after the ordeal and made everything right and even bought me a beer. Not usually one to write reviews but I figured I would after receiving great food and great service.

Daytrip to Plymouth called for dinner. We found this place based on number of reviews it had,…read moreseemed like a solid choice. Upon arrival it was packed too which we thought was a good sign. I ordered a draft beer that was a local brew, the Mayflower. It was an IPA that was easy to sip on. The lunch pale ale was okay too. We started with two clam chowders, flavor was good but were very salty, like over the top salty. My prime rib Saturday special was pretty good, I enjoyed it. I requested horseradish creama which most definitely enhanced it. The seafood alfredo was tasty from what I tried, the sauce was good and seafood was fresh. I would say this place is average and convenient. I'd come back but maybe more for drinks and apps. They had a large bar area so it seemed popular for that. All in all, I wouldn't rush back but I wouldn't avoid it if I was in the area. Just expect an average meal.
