His equipment for us was great and had plenty of bait and rigs to accommodate us. (Even when my 9 year old got tangled and snagged a few times.) When you haven't had any days off in months though and your daily routine is getting to you and physically (mentally and emotionally not applicable here because there is alcohol for that), the idea of driving down to Wildwood with the possibility of swinging by AC, to be on a boat for 2-3 hours is pretty relaxing - dolphins or no dolphins. Getting a Groupon deal on this helped too, although these guys are not expensive to begin with - for two people, it's $35 on Groupon/$76 without. Although there were no whales, we actually did get to see a family of dolphins. Had we not gotten to see them, the tour itself would have been sufficient as well, as we got a pretty detailed tour of Cape May, its surroundings, and some interesting facts about the Jersey wetlands. Like I said - this may sound dull, but when you are on a boat away from work & worries - life is good. They have 3 cruises per day - 10:30, 1:30, and one in the evening. The afternoon cruise is a bit longer and features free hot dogs !!!!!!! OMGFJSDFLKJ1111!!!! With free afternoon hot dogs, a friendly crew, and an excuse to go down to AC - what more do you need?
