They were able to provide estimates of different options and breakdowns, which was super helpful in determining what we wanted to spend after just purchasing a house. They were able to expedite the service as well, to get everything done before furniture was moved in. The hardwood floors look incredible after the sand and refinish, brand new! The pricing was competitive also, and was a better value than going with Home Depot. Definitely recommend. Services Provided: Carpets and Sand & Refinish for hardwood floors

GO ANYWHERE ELSE for your boat cover. Stay away. I'm speaking purely from my experience with a…read moreboat cover they made for me. All I wanted was for the old cover that was worn to be reproduced. They insisted on redesigning the cover. When I showed up to pick up the cover and my boat they tried to charge me more money than the originally agreed upon price. Glad I had it in writing. Their new design did not work well, had ponding of water. They did offer to fix it, but that required leaving the boat with them again, which was a significant amount of driving for me and killed the rest of my boating season. After they "fixed" the cover, I was disappointed to discover that they did not modify it so it matched the design of my original cover. They only added a couple more snap poles in the corners which are very difficult to put into place. In addition, they stole two of my original cover poles and vents for reasons that baffle me and have not returned them. You have been warned.

I absolutely love, love, love Maq Design's work! Our sofa, which was in very good shape, but…read moredated, was too large for the standard slipcover - which would definitely not be a long-term fix. I found Maq on Yelp, and emailed. Soooo glad I did! M. answered back very quickly, and talked about what we were thinking we wanted to do. Getting books of material was easy, and we exchanged them a few times before we got it right. The finished work was done before the date given, and my sofa is absolutely perfect. M.'s work is top quality, and her attention to detail was spot on. She also made some suggestions on firming up seat cushions, which made the sofa look and feel like it was brand new. I absolutely recommend Maq Design!

Jamila and her assistant arrived while I wasn't home and only cleaned the exposed carpet. My fiancé happened to be home and moved the coffee table out of the way so they would clean that area. The assistant made it clear that he would not move the furniture. When I called to complain, Marc told me that "there was probably just dust under there anyway!" Which wasn't the point. I asked for a carpet cleaning and was promised the full carpet would be cleaned. Not for a lazy one swipe with the machine. The part they cleaned looks great. But it was a half-assed job and not what I signed up for. Update, just got off the phone with Jamila and she hung up on me instead of listening to what I had to say. Never in my life has a company made me feel so disrespected and angry. I'm a reasonable person and my fiancé had nothing to do with the misunderstanding. The misunderstanding is fully on Aladdin's end. Mark was ridiculously unprofessional and Jamila's employee lied about the exchange. You should be able to book a job with details laid out, and get that job done the first time correctly. Not have to endure accusations and rudeness from the co-owner and be offered to have the service done again on Friday so the carpet is wet all weekend. Whatever response Jamila might have for this review, it's to attempt to save face and cover up the fact that they provided bad customer service and did the job incorrectly. It amazes me that a business that is run in this manner has been around for this long.
