You go to the website and pick meals, order it, pick a day and time to go get it and have whatever you want back at your house the next day. I'm so tired off cooking and eating out isn't exactly great for families trying to be healthy. There's so much excessive packaging. I actually think there's less than when your grocery shop and have to deal with all the packaging of everyday items. But it's nothing unless it's great food. Here's the opinion on the first meal we tried tonight which was the Broadway tomato basil soup and garlic bread. Holy cow WOW. I wish I took a picture, but I forgot because it was so beautiful and so good. My daughter hates soup so I made her penne pasta and put it on top. The color was vibrant and everyone said it was the best tomorrow tomato soup they've ever had. 3 of us ate about 25% of the frozen package so we have a lot more to eat. I didn't defrost in the fridge, but rather cut out a piece and then put it in my instant pot for 3 minutes on high and then did a quick release. It was perfect. The bread I didn't defrost in the fridge either (we didn't have the time) so just heated it up a little in the oven and then cut it open, put in the garlic butter and topped with Parm. It was perfect. The bread is wonderful. It's all gone. My son is taking soup to school for lunch tomorrow and he's never done that. The other meals for the week fit nicely in my small freezer. The quality is really nice and everyone's happy. I picked up a few meals not on my list asking with 5 other meals to try and I'll keep coming back as long as everything tastes as wonderful as it did tonight. What a huge time saver for great food.

We ordered a bunch of different dishes, including cheese pastries, lamb pita, a big platter of five grilled meats, and several desserts. The Dubai pistachio cake was my favorite! The house-made knuffa was also incredible--served hot and crispy, sweet on the outside, with the perfect cheese pull. The music was a bit loud, which made it difficult to have conversations at times, but overall, it was a great experience and a fun place to celebrate!

We had a reservation, which I'd highly recommend. The place was packed. It shares space with other businesses but everyone was at Cazbar. They had an amazing belly dancer, Crystal! She was really good. She interacted with the crowd. It didn't matter where you sat. She went around to everyone and even provided dessert with a sparkler to anyone celebrating a birthday. Very cool! Speaking of cool. They have iPads as their menu. Fancy! The "Topkapi torch" was really good. A spicy bourbon drink! I got two! I would come back just for this drink. We tried a few apps. The beef pastry was delicious. We also did a sweet potato dish. The beef was my fave! For my entree, I did chop chop, which came with chicken and lamb. I thought it was good but not really worth the price point! Our server was just ok. He seemed a bit distracted and wasn't super personable but it didn't take away from the overall experience. The manager was very engaging and friendly. We would visit again!

In that time the quality of the meat has definitely gone down. On a few occassions I received meat which was freezer-burned and once received a bunch of inedible rotten hamburger meat. Bernadette ripped me off for over $300 because she shipped the order contrary to our written agreement which had been in place for the previous few orders. Her mistake, but she refused to give me a refund. Instead claiming some unwritten policy which she had made up in her head and it was my fault she didn't bother to contact me. We got sat at the high top and took in the surroundings of the hustle and bustle along with all the signatures on the wall. The place is definitely a bit cramped to eat and the sound really carries. Our service was sometimes very quick sometimes us just trying to catch someone but I understand they were probably busier than usual. I enjoyed most of the food served here, minus the meats as the lamb had a bit of that typical after taste and the bacon was just OK. They made a great omelette though and their pancakes, particularly the blue berry ones, were TO DIE FOR. I heard their eggs Benedict was some of the best my group has had. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and think I would come here for Thanksgiving turkey but some of the other meats just weren't wow-ing. Their desserts on the other hand, are something I will dream of!

I really want to like this place and I may end up upgrading this review - see below. I drove there…read morefrom Hunt Valley this morning as my usual butcher isn't open on Sunday. Plus Wegmans doesn't have an actual butcher. I was hunting for a top sirloin roast to prepare in the sous vide. This is a nice gourmet store on the grounds of a local farm that sells beef direct to the public. Their beef is apparently pasture raised and they seem committed to natural methods, no antibiotics, etc. I didn't see any mention of certification of organic practices though. The prices in general seem pretty high but maybe I'm a bit of an old fart in regard to prices. The goods were gourmet shop level. A small jar of gravy for example was $12 and a single brownie was $10.00 I was greeted by a nice kid who was helpful but didn't know the difference between a tip sirloin and a top sirloin. Not surprising. He quickly brought over the owner. She seemed pleasant but a bit rushed and wanting to sell me. I asked if they could cut a Top Sirloin Roast for me. They produce their own beef, butcher it, and sell it in their shop. I asked if the roast could include the cap (picanha) piece. That is a standard way of selling a top roast. The owner said they couldn't sell it that way but she could sell me the coulotte steak. This is the same cut as the Picanha or cap just by a different name. I find this odd. If you sell the sirloin steaks and the cap why not just not cut them and sell the whole thing. Or sell me the steaks uncut without the cap. I'd be happy to order it and come back a few days later. The owner was happy to tell me a story about how much I would like the coulotte and how it was a steal at the price. The problem with a cap steak bought separately from the top roast is that 35% of the cap steak is fat. That pushes the average per pound price of the meat up by 50%. Not a great value but I understand why they'd rather sell it that way. The fat cap is helpful in the cooking process (when roasted) but is usually factored into the total price of the roast. I'm the customer, they are a self producing butcher shop. The reason for me to make the effort to drive to them would be flexibility based on their inherent assets and skill set. Certainly they don't have a price advantage seemingly to me. So I bought the 2-3 pound coulotte steak. If the meat has a superior taste, I'll upgrade this review. But if the price is average, the meat is average, and the flexibility of the product are just average then I'll leave an average score. More importantly, I really want to like this place and I really do want to see their model work. I buy $300+ dollars of beef per month and also other meats. I want to find the butcher that will work with me when I have a creative urge. I'm happy to drive past other sellers (Wegmans, John Brown, Amish market) in hunt Valley and spend at least 2 hours of my time but they need to give me reason. Scott Rifkin, MD
