I am reviewing this location for what it is, a standalone Royal Farms convenience store with no gas pumps. If you are looking for a royal farms, gas station, the locations closest to here are east down Boston St., or O'Donnell st. They remodeled this location a few years ago to increase its size and create a more customer, friendly footprint. It's, not a huge royal farms, but also not small. It's average size. They have all the usual, coffee, selections, package, goods, drinks, nicotine products, as well as the world, famous royal farms, fried chicken, and meal to order stations. As with most larger royal farms in this area, they also have Krispy Kreme doughnuts, delivered fresh in the mornings. The employees here are friendly and polite, and helpful. The only negative comments I have are minor. First, the Krispy Kreme doughnuts are in an awkward location and have an awkward set up. The doors to the display case are difficult to propped open while filling up your container with donuts. it's also right next to the coffee creamer stand so if you are standing out getting donuts and somebody wants to get coffee creamer it can be a bit crowded. And they got rid of the dozen donut boxes for some reason so you can only get boxes of six... Although, if you're getting the standard cake donuts (not the filled donuts) you can fit 12 in a box if you work at it. The only other comment is that due to this stores location, there are often people standing outside asking for money. Unfortunately, this is just a reality of inner-city life. read more

Came in specifically to try the lauded fried chicken and I'm not that impressed. It was okay. The roll, the mashed potatoes, and the stale fries should be avoided. This is the worst royal farms I've ever been to. I came before and the woman working at the deli gave our food away to someone else and then blamed us for that and would not re make it. The manager on duty gave us a refund and we left. No big deal. Optimistically... we came back a second time and the worker behind the counter had his hands down his pants and we said something about it he laughed and removed them. I went there yesterday and used the ATM I accidentally dropped my money $200.00 I went right back in and was verbally assaulted refused to be shown the camera footage .i was lied to repeatedly about who the managers is. I believe An employee stole my money otherwise why wouldn't you want to help your customer. Terrible service. I was told to leave and come back in the morning when another manager would be working who could pull the video I did and when I got there they said she was never on the schedule to come in. This is one of my favorite spots after work the other establishment beginning with 7 don't deliver. the food here is freshly cooked regardless what I buy at this location it's always been great and the few panhandlers that stand outside they are a eyesore to the building only and have nothing to do with the store itself I ride a electric bicycle not one time in 8 months I had to chain it up even when panhandlers we're out never had a rude cashier for a late night snack or lunch this is the spot read more

I patronized the 2050 Fleet Street Royal Farms store on July 5, 2018. I parked my car at 12:45 pm. Steve Cline, manager of Auto Barn, informed me it was towed at 12:50 pm. I have a receipt for chicken that I bought only 13 minutes later. The signs in the parking lot stated clearly that Royal Farms patrons would not be towed. I was charged $300 plus I had to get a ride to opposite side of the City to get my car from the impound. I presented the receipt to Mr. Cline, and per our conversation, he stated that I wasn't a customer of Royal Farms yet. I didn't realize that my patronage could be surmised within that time frame, and therefore, make me liable for a $300 tow bill. I would hate for this to happen to someone with a child as mine was thankfully not with me at the time. While, Mr. Cline and Royal Farms may well be within their legal rights to operate such a business, this is still a very nasty way to profit by preying on the unsuspecting patrons of Royal Farms. Mr. Cline said he was definitely not giving me my money back, but I'm going to speak on behalf of others that might fall victim of Royal Farm and the Auto Barn's scam of a business. Eh, it's a convenience store. They carry generic convenience store items, nothing special that you wouldn't find in a 7-11 except for the fried chicken. One good thing about this place is that it seems to be a favorite hangout spot for cops so it feels safe even late at night. read more

There are times when I begin to feel as if I live here; ah, the dangers of living too close to a convenience store. It's definitely a lot more, um, lively during the wee hours of the morn', if the paper is to be believed. I've seen people react in embarrassingly petulant ways when the fried chicken supply has been depleted, so it must be good. I almost lost faith in the good ol' rofo when the veggie wrap was briefly removed from the touch-to-order menu, but they brought it back and I'm a happy camper. Two pan handlers were sitting, draped across the front glass asking every one who went in for money.... She's usually too busy talking to her co-workers to acknowledge the paying customer standing right in front of her. I stop by on my way to work every day for a egg & sausage croissant, O;J. and sweets for coffee. Lately I haven't been able to get down the candy/cookies aisle because it is choked completely with green crates 5 feet high. It seems that this doesn't have any particular day, but at 8:30 a.m. at least 2-3 days per week- I can't get the Bergers cookies or any candy. I ask you, what percentage of patrons come to your stores and include candy/sweets in their purchases? A large %, I'll bet. Can't get to it at this store on Fleet Street/Canton. This is quite possibly the worst Royal Farm I have ever been in. The employees are incredibly rude and unfriendly. You have to wait to be called to pay for your items. However, this only happens with a hand wave and when your employees are finished having conversations with over employees. The deli/food counter employee is beyond unprofessional. Honestly, I can't say enough bad things about this place. I know this store is under going renovations. Perhaps, the employees will undergo renovations as well. Absolutely horrible!!! read more

It's a convenience store people, not Nordstrom or Giants. The store has been clean every time I've been there. Sometimes people react to the attitude they received from others.
