This was probably some of the worst Chinese I have ever had. The sauce tasted like it belonged on a sloppy joe. Will not go again.

I love this place! is you want something authentic and quick! this is the place, as oppose to that major chain "panda express" so fake and terrible customer service over there. Royal express on the other hand GOOD STUFF, i come from los angeles and we have an endless amount of Chinese restaurants and over time ive learned where are the spots to hit up. The staff is super friendly and the environment is so authentic and welcoming. Their isn't very much to choose from in Logan but Formosa.. but that's a sit in restaurant unless you get take out but for a little more out of your pocket. unlike panda (EXPENSIVE) Royal Express delivers on the food and for your dollar and less wait time if you are on the go.GO THERE NOW!!! read more

Always great food. The tiny spicy and lo-mein are extremely good. They always have fresh food when we come in. The biscuts are amazing for dessert. If you are looking for exceptional, inexpensive Chinese food, Royal Express is the place to go. You can get a combo meal for $5.95, which includes your choice of ham fried rice or noodles, two entree items, a drink, and one appetizer/side of your choice. They have a lot of options to choose from for both the entrees and appetizer/side when you build your own combo. I feel like the combo meal mentioned above is the best deal, you get a lot of food. However, they have a very extensive menu offering various udon and rice noodles, combo offers, many boba drinks, beef, seafood, chicken, chow mein, low mein, -pork, and a variety of soups. No matter if you are looking for sesame chicken, plum chicken, beef and broccoli, teriyaki chicken, general's chicken, sweet and sour chicken, tiny spicy chicken, tangerine chicken, chicken chow mein, kingdom pork chop, pineapple pork, Mongolian beef, pineapple beef, beef with mushrooms, happy family, vegetable delight, or Szechuan Chicken & Pork and many other options. This is the place! One time we ordered four servings of plum chicken, which they were almost out of, they asked us to wait a few minutes while they made a fresh batch, just for us. Then they gave us two free biscuits and apologized for the wait. We are never disappointed. The staff has always accommodating and nice to their customers. The food is always fresh and hot. The environment is always clean the tables are always wiped off floors are swept clean and trashes are never overflowing. It's such a great deal for awesome food they pile on high! I did not like their food at all. It's set up a lot like Panda Express, but the food is not fresh. I had the tangerine chicken pineapple pork, and fried rice. It was all very dry and just tasted old. The staff was helpful but depressed as heck. I won't be back!!! Do yourself a favor, drive 10 miles South to Hyrum and try Golden Jade. It's some of the best Chinese food in Cache Valley. read more

Been a frequent customer of Royal Express for years, and the food's been consistent the entire time. For the price ($5.95 lunch special, $6.95 all-day meal deal), no other chinese in Logan can beat this place. The teriyaki chicken is especially good, and different than any other around, as it is more of a teriyaki/bbq sauce. If you're looking for good quick chinese, stop in here and leave happy. Tips for new customers: go during lunch or dinner hours, sometimes the off hours, or right before close, don't have the best looking food. Very reasonably priced American style Chinese food. They have a special for about $6 you get rice or lo mien plus two entrees of your choice. The portions are generous, so $6 is a very good deal. I see some people here commenting that the food is pre-made and sitting out. Everything I ate was flavorful and good quality. It's common for Chinese restaurants like Panda Express and in mall food courts to have pre-made food ready to serve. You can also order from the menu and wait while they cook. This is not a gourmet authentic Chinese restaurant but a very solid choice for basic fast Americanized Chinese food. read more

The prepared foods on the steam table are better than average, but order off the photo menu for something more authentic. Or even just the chicken and vegetables, which they cook to order in a couple of minutes. If the servers are busy at a back table, they may be hand peeling the broccoli so it is more tender. We love this place. It's delicious, inexpensive, and doesn't require getting in the worst of Logan's traffic. It holds some great memories for us, too. It's family-run and they have some good Chinese food. Also, if you go in there often enough, you'll find out they have some other dishes available sometimes that aren't on the menu. The place was not very clean, hot, and food looked old. I ordered milk green tea as suggested by the owner's daughter. Milk they used were NOT milk, it was some kind of white powder that clumped together after a while. The quality of their boba teas should be $1.50 - $1.75 but I paid close to $3.00. I ordered food from the Royal express from calling around for my hotel to see if they delivered I should've looked online to the reviews before I bought. Needless to say I ordered rice and sesame chickenand it was awful it tasted like two so strongly. I called to let them know that the food I had ordered and that was delivered was not good. I said I would like a refund and they tried telling me that I ordered sesame chicken and there was nothing wrong with it that it was fresh. I said nothing about freshness it was extremely hot when I got it. It tasted like two so it ruined my taste buds and my appetite for the night. The women got upset with me and hung up on me and to say I was very polite through all of this very. Tried to call back because I couldn't believe he hung up on me and no answer and no answer I then waited about five minutes and gentleman answered saying he was the manager. So to make a brief ending to this they still would not do the refund I was very disappointed and I truly don't do a lot of service like this but I can't believe of all the places I've traveled and stayed and ordered food had a place treat me like this business I urge you to not eat here find a different Chinese restaurant if you're wanting Chinese you will be dissatisfied and unhappy truly. It really wasn't about the money it was only about 20 bucks but they were fighting for that 20 bucks to keep it they obviously needed it pretty badly.
