I am so impressed with my service and overall very happy! One area for improvement would be better communication within their team, especially given the language barrier. That said, they are incredibly thorough, and the way they fold household towels and tissue paper is just adorable--your home will look like a hotel! Lol. I've used this service for two disasters in my home. One when I had a slab leak and had 7 days without water. They picked up my laundry and delivered it same day packaged and folded. Two weeks later I had a washer overflow and used many towels and also was without water for days. Again, I called Royal Cleaning and used them twice to do my towels, personal clothing and sheets. Royal Cleaning does a REALLY GOOD JOB. Normally, I don't like to hire a company, but this is a small family owned business that is really run INCREDIBLY WELL and everyone just knows how to clean. Now, cleaning day makes me SO HAPPY. Over the years, I've had a lot of different cleaning companies in different areas of NJ (Hoboken, Bloomfield, Montclair), and you know how sometimes they just sort of move stuff around but nothing actually seems clean? Other times, they break stuff and hide it? That is NOT THESE GUYS. I tried them when I was having a party and wanted my house cleaned "in a pinch." I haven't looked back in almost five years (had to take a break during COVID). Although I was afraid I let them down, they never let me down, and didn't miss a beat. Even if you have a different team from time to time, they all know exactly what needs to be done, and work so efficiently. They do in a few hours (a huge Montclair home) what it would take me a whole day to do. Mike will take EXCELLENT care of you and your home! I can't recommend Royal Cleaning highly enough! read more

This was my first cleaning with Royal today. I have had several companies and horrible service that over the last year I've been doing the cleaning myself. Last week I told my husband that we need to find another company ASAP. I cannot work 12 hour days and do the cleaning. Mike responded to my email within minutes and was able to accommodate my bi weekly Friday without an issue. They even text to confirm the night before. Royal cleaning came to my apartment in Verona and did an excellent job! They did my one bedroom apartment in under two hours from top to bottom. My stove was really bad, probably hadn't been clean in at least six weeks and they left it spotless. They were also the lowest quote for a monthly rate that I could find. Which was surprising. I would definitely recommend this company for regular cleanings. I would also like to point out that I hid money in three different spots and it wasn't touched. Rosanna cleaned my entire apartment and spent considerable time on each room, scrubbing down everything. She was friendly and polite, and took great care of everything she cleaned. I asked to have my kitchen cleaned with all the appliances and on a day learnt that I need to pay extra for each appliance (30-40 perc price increase) 2. I reviewed 75perc of cleaned area before making a cash payment. Then after a day, realised that the remaining cabinets were even not touched! Update: 1/21/2020 - I called our oven manufacturer to come and take a look. It was a very simple fix - it was because the cleaner had taken all the oven racks out and had managed to dislodge the side racks, therefore preventing the door from closing fully. Had the cleaner spoke better English and was able to explain what she had done, perhaps I could have saved myself $175 for someone to spend less than 10 seconds "fixing" my oven door. If I had cleaned the oven myself i probably would have realized what the problem was. But I didn't. Oh well. With two young babies, I don't have time to clean thoroughly now. Jenny came to give us a quote and we went through what was going to be done. She was very thorough. I had specially mentioned we didn't want to use Murphy oil on the floor because of the babies always crawling on the floor and Jenny said they could use water and vinegar. Great. The first time they came, they didn't have it and said no one told them. They just had Murphy oil. So I had to go out and get some. My house was cleaned well, better than what I could have done myself but not as good as another company I used. I decided to use Royal Cleaning because they said they provided everything and because they also clean the apartment block I used to live in. I decided to use Royal Cleaning a second time, but I was going to supervise more and tell them what specifically needed cleaning. When I called to schedule I requested again for water and vinegar and was told it would be noted on my account. The second time, only one person showed up and I was told it was going to take 6 hours! This was not communicated to me until they already had all the products inside my home. Two came and then one left. This messed up my plans as I hadn't expected someone in my home twice as long. I needed to make arrangement for someone to pick up my daughter from school which I would have done myself but couldn't. Also, again, no vinegar. Only Murphy Oil. So I had to provide. She did a thorough job but when I went to check the kitchen, I found that my oven door didn't close properly. I asked her about it and because she spoke no English, we couldn't communicate effectively. Using google translate she told me that my husband opened the oven for her and she only cleaned. The second person came back to pick her up and I asked her as she spoke English and all she did was repeat that my husband opened the oven door and nothing was their fault. Then just shrugged and left. I still gave her a $20 tip as she did in fact clean for 6 hours but I had a working oven before she came. I wasn't happy about the no-blame attitude. Probably the last time I will use Royal Cleaning as the other company did a slightly better job and I need to supply my own products anyway. Disappointed it didn't work out. read more

The owner said he would come personally to my home. I took off work and waited for him to come. Once they were over a half an hour late i called and he said they were outside of my house in a ford focus. Of course he wasn't so i called back and he said he would be on his way. After waiting for another hour and a half i called back and another employee said the person i was speaking with left for the day and that i would have to reschedule. When i rescheduled they were late again but the two spanish women did a good job sweeping and mopping. For some reason i thought they would do more. Not worth the money unless you are having a specific need done(i.e. cleaning stove). read more

Not quite sure exactly how long I've used Royal but it's been off and on for over eight years. Michael is an absolute joy to work with! I loved service by Alejandra years back and was never quite as happy when she wasn't in the lead. Service is always prompt and the team is always courteous and flexible.
