Making someone's eyebrows 2000s thin is something you might wanna clear with them beforehand in 2025. Then when it comes time to leave they don't have enough bills for the change the woman in front of me needs so they tell her they have to give it to her in quarters unless she has exact change. I also expressed my sensitive skin worries, before the service and she acknowledged that, but still used the wax anyways. The skin above and below my eyes was red and peeling for two days after the service. When I asked about it, all I was told was to put Benadryl on my skin. Cortisone near one's eyes is not a great idea from a medical standpoint. It was too late to stop her as I didn't know what she was doing til she pulled the wax linen strip off. I thought she was still using the template when she was touching my face. I also had to ask for the color fill although it was included in the price. $55 is very high for the factory like service I received. I felt as though my service was not individualized and everyone going to Shante gets the same exact procedure no matter what you pay for. The only reason, this was not one star, was because it was very easy to book on the website. Other than that, there is no positives with booking at this beauty Lounge. Many places do a much better job, and cost 20 to 30% less. I definitely will not be back.

I own my own lash business in Boulder and I drive an hour each way every two weeks to have her do mine. There is an elite level of lash extensions that is what we lash artists, the connoisseurs of lash extensions, all appreciate and love. It's the true Russian Volume. 6 years ago, both Dawn and I were on the lash forum where America first heard about his beautiful styling directly from the Russian artists themselves. We loved the delicate, natural look of these lashes, and knew that mastering the technique would set us apart from the crowd. (And they do!) There are very few artists who have mastered this difficult skill and Dawn is one of them. Not only that, she is a wonderful human to be with. Gentle in nature, professional in business and exacting in her skills, I wouldn't have anyone else do my lashes. No one cares like the owner of the business. She goes home and studies the forums, does all the things a business owner does to be the best at her craft. If you want beautiful, sustainable, natural looking lashes that are completely comfortable and healthy, go to Dawn. Your lashes will be healthier than before extensions because she does it right!

Once it was finally my turn, all was well until I was nicked twice, once on each side and the second time she did it kind of stung so I winced a little and she blamed me because I wasn't holding my skin tight enough to her liking, as if my skin weren't already tearing. The tone of her voice was almost like she was shaming me, no apology or anything and I know that sometimes you get nicked getting your eyebrows threaded but usually it only happens once because they are careful about it after! I've never had this sort of issue just getting my eyebrows threaded by ANYONE. Will NOT be returning to this location, If I wanted to look like I got backhanded, I can do that for free.
