However, the owner Jesse has cut his hair previously and honestly not a fan but it wasn't necessarily bad but he wouldn't get the haircut right for my brother. However his normal barber has moved shops and due to long waits Jesse took my brother today and absolutely botched his hair. Like it's so bad he has chunks of hair missing and the cut this time was uneven and just messy overall. He's too busy being loud talking to everyone and not paying attention to who he has in his chair and it's disappointing because for a barber shop with such good ratings you would think he'd take a bit more pride in his work considering that's HIS shop. It sucks that he was so careless and sloppy with my brothers hair since he has a tournament he's leaving for tomorrow so now he's scrambling to find another barber shop to squeeze him in to fix the mess that Jesse made of his head. Very disappointing and would not be coming back ever.

After trying out a few different ones in the area, Sports Barbershop was the clear winner for me. The staff is always friendly, inviting, efficient, and, no matter whose chair I sat in, I always left more than satisfied. When they closed during the pandemic, I went 3-4 months without getting a haircut. When I was finally able to go back (with a head full of hair), I had ideas for a new style. Raquel was able to give me the haircut I was looking for and I've stuck with her ever since. When I lived in Paramount, it used to take me 5 minutes to get to Sports Barbershop. However, since moving, it now takes me 30 minutes to get there from my home. That being said, the drive is always worth it. I don't see myself searching for a new barbershop anytime soon.
