This review is two stars, due to the amount of epoxy over spray. Immediate walls, fixtures and cabinets were taped off and covered with visqueen, but the spray area was not isolated with a plastic zipwall type of containment. As a result, there is noticeable epoxy over spray 6' to 10' from the source.
I reached out to the company and received an apology. They suggested I try acetone cut with water to try to remove the epoxy. I tried it, and it is very difficult. Additionally, depending on the surface, the cut acetone/water combination can be damaging.
However, the quality of countertop prep, repair, and coating were done well. I'm surprised that there was lack of oversight or guidance for the technician to wall off the area.
Anyone who has used an aerosol can, compressed air, or airless sprayer knows that there is always over spray. read more
