If you are looking for those hard-to-find international ingredients, Rowe's Supermarket is a local gem that belongs on your radar. It's consistently one of my favorite spots to hit when I'm planning a global menu or just need high-quality staples. Global Selection: Their international aisle is impressive. Whether you're hunting for specific spices, sauces, or specialty grains, they usually have exactly what you need to level up your home cooking. read more

It's aways has the largest selection of international food and the lowest prices on meat and seafood

Great store! Very clean and organized. Lots of parking. Today, Wednesday around 11:00 am, the store was not busy at all. 2 cashiers open, and about 9 self-checkout stations available. Great products here and very good variety. The store is of a pretty big size, I think. Very spacious. My parents do think that this is a bit of a pricey store, but I wouldn't know, we do not have these stores back home, in California. But to be honest, everything looks cheaper here than in Cali lol. Specifically gas prices lol. read more

A nice little store I was very surprised. A little bit of everything and everyone very nice and helpful.

They have a large selection of American and Caribbean foods. However, when I put my reusable bags on the belt at the checkout, the bags were ignored! The cashier and bag person, both put my items in plastic bags! When I asked why, they put the plastic bags full of my items in the reusable bags! I don't think the 2 ladies spoke English. I must be the only customer who brings reusable bags. I don't want to fill my kitchen waste basket with plastic bags. Plastic never degraded in the landfill. I was so surprised that they didn't know to use the reusable bags instead of the plastic bags. read more

I've been trying to visit a Rowe's for the last year but parking was crazy at the Beach Blvd location whenever I tried to go at lunch. Fast forward and they took over a Winn Dixie on Baymeadows which was much closer to home. I waited about a month for the newness to wear off and decided I would try my luck one Saturday morning. Unbeknownst to me, before I ventured out I did some gps analysis and found out the OP store on Wells was actually closer than the new store so off I went. Arriving relatively early, I only had to share the aisles with a handful of patrons. I had heard about their international offerings so I was finally here to see what the fuss was about. I walked each aisle and noticed some of the staples other grocery stores had. When I found the Filipino aisle, it was more than I expected. Literally an entire aisle both sides with items I couldn't find even in the Asian supermarkets. Incredible. Having walked 80% of the store I realized the strategy. There were dedicated aisles but there were also sprinklings of those cultures throughout. In the freezer section, another Filipino section. Refrigerated, same. It was genius. Overall the store was really nothing special. It's not the bright and inviting Publix experience this community is attracted to but if you're looking for international goods, they definitely have a better than average selection. I know I focused on Filipino items but I saw Hispanic, Indian, and Caribbean items as well. I know there was more but this is what I remember. read more

Find what I need ,great ethical variety love that . People r helpful .very nice organization.

This was recommended by local Puerto Rican's for the place to shop for PR food items. As a southerner I grew up with IGA and they were always the ones who had local and traditional foods no one else stocked. It is so neat to see that for not only southern foods, but also Caribbean and Central American Latin, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese and particularly surprising Filipino food. Wow so great to have this place instead of having to haul to Orlando!!!! You can even find frozen l read more

People stop calling Rowes a Caribbean store it is just a supermarket with odd international items, hardly any international food to even be considered a Caribbean store. I like Roweso for the quality of the meat, cleanliness of the store and little foot traffic at any give time. However management will refuse entry if you have a back pack or tote bag. I guess it's to lessen theft, but then again why do you have cameras. Will not be patronizing here. 0.5 of a star for me. The back pack killed the stars for me #RowesOnBlandinv. read more

I love shopping at Rowe's! They have great prices. I like to buy meat here. They have a really great high quality selection. The cashiers are quick and friendly. I also buy my shrimp here. I like the "reds". The produce is fresh and if you need a specialty Asian item, this is the place to go! It's a foodies dream. read more

Such a surprise find. I'm visiting from out of town and this is such a great store. It has a great mix of Hispanic and Asian foods, as well as anything else you could need. And, the prices are great. read more

This Rowe's is MUCH better than the one on 103rd. It's less crowded here and there's cart return stations. I can't stress how annoying it is to pull into a spot that you think is empty only to find a few carts being used in that empty spot instead. They are organized here, for the most part and what I like is that they have marinades near the meats! The chip section is a bit limited and maybe it's a bit smaller overall? read more

Rowe's Supermarket - Chicken was good but ribs were - Grocery Near Me - Orange Park, Florida

This location is great for finding various brands of Asian and Latin American ingredients as well as regular name brand items for the home chef and the prices are very competitive. I actually like the location on the Westside better, but this one works if I'm in Orange Park. There's plenty of parking. They have the same great selection as all Rowe's Supermarkets in the Jacksonville area with a nice variety of ready-made takeout food for your convenience. I actually love their fried chicken here and other deli items. I've come here for their egg roll wrappers and a few of my favorite snacks and condiments. They have a fresh seafood department and even carry some of the more exotic meats then your regular grocery chain. Check them out... read more

Rowes is awesome due to the fact I can eat Chinese, Cuban and of course mexican or mix it up. There international food selection is the best and there deli is pretty good when they have stuff available. Those empandas are awesome in the hot box and the Hawaiian Delight salad is Mmmmmm. The 103rd location is better for deli selection but this one is good also. read more

Rowe's Supermarket - Mmmmm - Grocery Near Me - Orange Park, Florida

I have to say this isn't my favorite grocery store mainly because of their everyday prices. I receive their weekly ads and pricings are ok but usually not good enough to make we want to shop here regularly. I also feel their produce section seems kind of limited for the store size. I do like how they have a fairly big selection of international. I would pay attention to the expiration dates though, I've seen some items expired well pass the dates. I've seen this specifically on Asian items. Their fried chicken is quite good. It's seasoned perfectly and have a nice crispy breading. The employees are usually very friendly. read more

This is one of my favorite Rowe's around town. They have a great meat department. They also have a large Asian section which is very handy when I need something and don't feel like driving a long distance to an oriental market. The service is usually pretty good. My only criticism is that the produce can be kind of dicey so make sure you check it thoroughly for freshness especially since they package the squash and it can be hard to check it out. read more

The sign on the door states that masks are required to enter the store. Nevertheless, several shoppers were maskless in the store. When I advised the manager of the Covid-19 threat, he expressed no interest in speaking to these shoppers, offering them masks, or asking them to leave. A public health physician, I advised the manager that this noncompliance with posted store policy threatened both his staff and his customers. He was unconcerned. read more

I was a Rowe's customer for 10 years. I bought products that are characteristic of Argentina, sausages, meat to make grilled, empanadas dough. Yesterday I went to buy 07/21/18, time 14.34, Store 2, 8595 Beach Blvd, Ellen Cashier, invoice amount $ 69.96. When I returned to my house and opened the chicken trays, I had to remove 1 pound of hidden fat, from two trays of "skinless thighs". The trays of meat, had three and up to four cloths of drying cotton, all completely wet, adding weight, paying water for meat. Typical products of Argentina, there was absolutely nothing. The company shows me, that they are interested in customers who buy many bananas ... I do not go back in many months, and I will walk by without pushing a car with my hands in my pockets, to see if they want to grow, improve as a market, or continue swindling, in the South American style. read more

Great grocery store with lots of your everyday item needs, plus best selection of dried chili's and foreign foods!

If you can't find what you are looking for at Publix, Fresh Foods or Winn Dixie, go here. A very ethnic grocery store with just about anything imaginable. Go there on Wednesdays for fresh seafood delivered that day. And, for the meat department they have everything. Rabbit, lamb, pork, chicken, and everything in between. Best prices too! They are the only grocery open during holidays for those last minute items you forgot to but ahead of time. read more

Great grocery store... Always able to find exactly what I need. Love that they have a big variety of international foods.

The worst customer service anyone can encounter. Ive stopped here for the sake of convenience and low prices. But don't expect customer service to be like it is at Publix. If they feel like talking to you they will. Today I stopped by for a convenience run. Had 5 items. When I walked to the register the clerk says hi and walks away. Like, where are you going? She gets another clerk and when they both come back neither one of them says anything. They just start counting money completely ignoring me. At the very least they could have pardoned themselves or said something like, I don't know, "We just need to count some money and we'll be with you shortly." Nothing. When they were done, do you think they apologized for the inconvenience? Nope. The clerk just rang up my things like nothing had happened. This kind of stuff happens every time I go and finally felt like leaving a review on it. The prices are very competitive so I'll give them that but their customer service needs to be revamped. I hope a manager or an executive reads this so they can make some changes. read more

They have the noodles i usually have to buy at the base and its much closer to my house. Great deals on produce and fast lines :)))))))
