He had already told me ahead of time $95 per hour and I knew for a job of this caliber and size an hour was ample time to the job, so I was prepared to pay $95.00. When I presented the table to him with the details of what I wanted done, he said it would take him 3 hours. Today I took it to a professional welder who responded to my post on the Nextdoor app. He did it in less than 55 minutes and charged me $65. It's appalling way of doing business. I do hope they are not getting government contracts.

Needless to say, 3 weeks later AGAIN, I called and was told I'd be called back. Wanna guess if they ever returned my call? NOPE!!! so again, like clockwork, I called 3 weeks later again, about 45 minutes before closing time, and got a recording. I left a nasty message letting them know I'd be leaving reviews so others don't have this same anguish they put me thru. I reccommend ANYONE ELSE.......even if you need to drive to COS or Denver. At least you might actually get your project completed.

We had a towing emergency when the rear leaf spring broke in half on our 16' cargo trailer. The…read moretrailer was towed to Speken Iron and Metal in Pueblo Colorado late in the afternoon. The owner of the company looked at our problem and was able to arrange the repair that same afternoon even though they already had a full schedule. They had a new leaf spring for our trailer in their inventory and were able to have it installed on the trailer within an hour. Speken Iron and Metal specializes in trailer repair and their work and professionalism show it. This company could have really taken advantage of our situation because we had to get the repair done in order to get back on the road. The cost for the repair including the new leaf spring was very reasonable and fair. We were treated like we were a long time customer. Even though I live about 180 miles away in Eastern Colorado, I will be taking all of my trailers to Speken Iron and Metal for repairs and maintenance. This is my second Thank you for David. Fetty's repaired my truck about two months ago replacing…read moreinjectors and seals. 2 1/2 weeks ago my truck started missing with low oil pressure code. David suspected a leaking o ring same as myself. David looked and looked finally finding a suspect o ring, they put the motor back together but that wasn't it. Without a code for a bad injector he was able to diagnose a bad injector but not which one so he replaced all 8 including a new fuel filter and oil change. This is my service truck and it sucked not having it for 2 weeks but having been an auto mechanic I understand sometimes cars suck ( IT'S CALLED LIFE). What's important is David has the knowledge and skills to get it done when your truck is the most difficult to repair and IT WAS ALL UNDER WARRANTY.
