Nicest in all possible ways. It was pristine. All the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The jewelry is titanium grade so I don't have to take any of my new piercings out for my upcoming MRI. Special shout out to Brian Loring for a fantastic job on my piercings. He was fast, efficient and there was just the hint of a sting. Can't recommend SSP highly enough if you're looking for a piece or a pierce. In addition to all that, there are a number of fine art items available for viewing or purchase and three awesome stickers for you to enjoy! Thanks so much guys! I'll definitely be back! I just had my 9-year-old daughter's ears pierced at Bevel, and I hesitate to even say how impressed…read moreI was, because it will sound like I'm exaggerating. But these folks exceeded not just my expectations, but my hopes, in every possible way. First of all, we are a low-income family, but I didn't want to go to a mall-based option, so I was researching price options. Bevel was actually one of the best prices for a minor, if not the best I found. I also called ahead of time to ask about their cheaper jewelry options. Even though it's a pretty swanky place, the person I talked to was not only understanding, but enthusiastic about making sure I had the info I needed. There was no hint of just being "tolerated" even though I wasn't going to give them much money. And they really do have an extensive selection of LOVELY jewelry at the lower end of their price range that suit a variety of tastes. Second of all, our family is at high risk for covid, so we still mask in public spaces. Nate was our piercer, and he took the initiative to offer to mask for us when we saw were wearing masks. That means a lot to us, and the proactive attention and care says a lot about the attitude he brings to the place. I was a bit nervous for my daughter, because she is highly sensitive in pretty much every way, including to pain. Nate was spectacular. Not only did he talk her through every step ahead of time (including a discussion of consent, where he ensured her that she could say at any moment that she needed a break or some space), but he was encouraging and fun in a natural way--not in the overly cheery way some folks interact with kids. She commented after we got home about how nice he was. As I had expected, she experienced the piercing as fairly painful, and Nate was absolutely perfect. In between ears, he did not push AT ALL to move on to the second ear, even though I'm sure we were taking quite a bit of his time. He gave her space to calm and prepare, encouraged her to let out the tears she had forming, and affirmed how well she was doing. He even offered to send us home with some saline wipes that feel cool on the pierced area and help soothe some of the pain, which really did help my daughter for the next couple hours. I honestly have tears in my eyes writing this. The piercings also look great, of course, but a lot of people can do a good piercing. The way we were treated from start to finish--especially the genuine care offered to my kiddo--was what really stood out, and I truly can't recommend these folks enough.

Guy brings out hoops to pierce with (ABSOLUTELY not ok) i tell him no i don't want to be pierced with hoops, that's really bad. He tells me about how he and his buddy think that you can get pierced right away with hoops. While this may be true, not at all ever for oral piercings AND the hoop should be a bigger gauge. Either way, i had such irritation and struggle with the pain after days of hoops i had to sit at home missing social events with ice on my face. I was able to get one stud in myself, but had to pay another $50 at a pro shop to get one in the swollen side that was pierced through a vein. You can see the irritation on the hoop side in the picture. I would not trust this shop if they've got a piercing guy that will do that. I believe he's the only piercer at the shop. In the response to all these issues all they said is that they would switch it out. No accountability or saying anything about their choice. Stay away from here for piercings and look up APP piercing shops for your safety.

I walked in and was the only customer in the store. There were a couple of young female staff members behind the counter. One said hi to me. They continued to chat for a bit. This store has many Squishmallows. I was in heaven! One of the female staffers let me know that if I buy an item, I get the second at 50% off in the store. I ended up getting two 5" Squishmallows (Vera and Keroppi) and two small ones on clips. The latter ones ended up being 50% off. Yay! I also got a couple of Pusheen pens. Each one has ten different ink colours. I had a few of these multicoloured pens as a kid, but they were always humungous. These ones fit nicely in a purse or backpack, and they work! I paid with a credit card. I also gave the staffers my e-mail address associated with my Claire's rewards. All was great. They put my goodies in a bag. I thanked them and walked out happy with my purchases. This store is cool in my books. I'll be back. (20)
