Horrible service, the owner was rude when I came into her shop. I spoke to her over the phone she said she needed the shot records for my dog. No problem a week later (yesterday) I personally came into the shop with my dog and had his shot record to make an appointment. Took my dog to get groomed. He is a 15 pound poodle mix. The beginning was good but when I arrived to pick him up I noticed he was shaking and looked like he had gone through a traumatic experience. Upon further examination I noticed that both of his ears were bleeding. These cuts weren't little cuts they're were actively bleeding which indicates that they cut his ears when trying to round them out. If you want total anxiety and for one person to almost ruin your entire Saturday, this is the place!!! This woman is the meanest most evil witch I have ever dealt with for customer service. I cannot get over how she spoke to my husband and me. So demeaning rude snd disrespectful. I called two weeks ago to make an appointment and I asked for an express like a lot of other groomers have. Where the dog is done as soon as you drop them off. Usually I wait at the groomers because my dog has seizures. Our dogs are our children. I should've known when I talked to her at first because she just went on and on about how I could not stay in the store and she pretty much told me that I couldn't even wait in my car. She talk to me like I was a child. It was pretty much you just need to go home.She told me that if she brought in my dog with seizures and my golden chow as the FIRST customer of the day, she would start them both first in tandem. I dropped them off right at 8 o'clock I was there at 7:30 AM on a Saturday, she called at 10:30 and said I could come and get Remi so he could have his medicine but Greta wasn't done yet. So we decided to drive around we got the car washed we went to a fast food place for the dogs to get something to eat and drink and waited and waited. I never called her to check on Greta until 1230. (She told me that Greta might take until 12. She's a mess she said. She wasn't a mess! She just had a lot of fur. When I called she told me she can't do her job if I keep calling and calling and just berated me over and over and over again she was so awful. I actually had to hang up I couldn't take it. And I'm almost 50 years old!We just decided to get Greta the way she was and then when my husband tried to go in they said that Greta was still wet. First they wouldn't even answer the phone. And the door was locked. Then when she told my husband he needed to wear a mask inside he said he would just stay outside and she made him come in if he was going to get Greta. Well they ended up bringing her out and guess what she wasn't even damp in the tinniest bit. She then told us that if she just did our dogs first she wouldn't have any time to do any other dogs and she would be out of business on Monday. This woman I cannot tell you how awful she is. She made me feel so sick to my stomach and my anxiety was through the roof. We got Greta and she was half done and they charge us $210 and said it would be more if they would've finished her. I take extremely good care of my dogs and Greta was a new rescue so I haven't taken her to an actual groomer yet, she just went to the groomer at the rescue which was three months ago and then I washed her myself and brushed her myself. This woman should not be in business. I am pretty sure that she went by a different name before this place then. There is no way this place has been in business for 25 years. She ended up telling my husband f@& you screaming it as he took Greta out of the store. Seriously she screamed f $&@ you at the top of her lungs outside her store at a customer who was trusting her dogs to her. My dogs are like my kids. Eight years ago we took our dog to the vet to get a dental and they actually lost her and she was killed on the highway. It is a big big deal for me to trust somebody with my dog. This woman I think is disturbed. Don't tell me it's first come first serve. That's a lie. Don't tell me you've been working on my dog for four hours because that was a lie. You let her sit there while you did other dogs. Don't give me until 12 o'clock to pick her up and then say you have no estimated time of when she'll be done absolutely no estimations whatsoever. Rude customer service. I'm out of town with cancer childs treatment so my husband took her and he didn't know the "rules." Owner was so rude to him. He had his hands full with two dogs and she wouldn't help him in by opening the door. Was rude the whole encounter. Come pick up time, my brother in law goes for pick up, because it takes a village, same attitude for not knowing the rules. I have been going to ROVER since before it was ROVER. My vet clinic recommended Rover Salon to do my dog's nails. I booked my appointment for my 6 year old boxer mix. Having read some of the reviews that the owner was particular, I made sure to arrive on time. When we arrived this morning, the owner unlocked the door and motioned us to step away from the door, which I thought she meant for me to hand her the leash. The owner said we don't see pitbulls we don't know. I told her that we had the genetic analysis done and one parent was fully boxer and the other was 90% pit, which made her a boxer mix. She said your dog is 90% pit and I can see she is a pit No, she is 50% boxer and almost 45% pit, which makes her a boxer mix. She said for safety reasons, which I fully understand, she could not see pits that she didn't know. I asked how does she know that a dog is an issue without seeing the dog and asked if she would call my vet to ask about her temperament. She said that doesn't tell me how she will act for me. If the owner is not willing to see pitbulls or pitbull mixes, she should state that before confirming any appointments, so that others won't make a wasted trip to her salon. read more

Loving it again! Is it true that Ms. Karen is particular... yes BUT I want that in my groomer and in my pilots! :) Hahah Really... Ms. Karen does a fantastic job. My dog is so shy but she loves her some Ms. K!!! Come at the time she tells you and don't bang on the door when it is NOT the appointed time. Don't come late to pick up your dog as she tells you how long to come and get your animal. One person at a time in the salon and wear your mask. Ms. Karen had Covid months ago and doesn't intend on anyone infecting her again regardless of vaccinations. At the end of the day... your dog will be groomed and handled so fantabulously (like my word). I love this place. Can Ms. Karen come off abrasive at times? I was very excited to book my first appointment seeing I've heard such amazing things about this salon, I over slept and was late for the drop off. When I walked in I immediately was met with the owner who gave me the WORST attitude, I apologized and asked to please reschedule. When given the days available, I told her to please give me a second so I can call my significant other and make sure that worked for either of us for picking up purposes. With an attitude she told me just to call her later she had stuff to do. I've never been treated so poorly, I understand I was late. But customer service is EVERYTHING, there is no reason to ever treat someone who is trying to acquire business from you. I am shocked. I'm sure her services are amazing but her poor attitude needs to change. read more

I went to pick up my dog , and the door was locked . I knocked and then I saw the owner coming up beside me walking a dog . I backed up , but according to her not far enough, yes I'm wearing a mask. As she goes in she tells me " you're late " , I apologized. Now as I reach for the door handle to go in she gives me the stop sign ! I wait now for permission, finally it's given and again I get " you're late " read the sign ! I apologized again I said I came right away after making one stop on my way , plus traffic. She goes into a rant about me being late and if my dog had an accident she would have to give her another bath . I decided to bite my tongue and not say anything because it's not worth it , but she insisted on belittling me like a little kid for being late . In a strong voice she's like " I called your wife twice " ! From the time she called my wife till I got there it was about an hour, her sign says thirty minute pickups or your charged a late fee. I was let off with a stern warning and no late fee , thank God ! We've been there a few times now and NEVER AGAIN ! You should not be in a customer based business with your attitude ! P.S. As soon as I approached the salon the owner looked at me up and down and said can I help you! I responded yes I have an appointment. Before looking at her book she says not with me you don't... then now feeling uncomfortable and profiled... she finally looks at the appointment book and says oh this must be onyx... I canceled your appointment because you failed to send shot records!! Now you and your dog have to leave my shop because I don't have his records... I began to explain to the owner that the records were sent twice... she walks away as I'm still standing there trying to make an attempt to resolve the confusion... she comes back and says I received email on Saturday it does say second attempt but I didn't get it in time so the appointment is canceled!! She was extremely rude, made no attempts to at least reschedule... initially I was standing outside for at least 15 minutes... did not apologize for the wait this was the worst racial profile experience... she might as well put no blacks allowed on the door read more

Horrible experience. The owner has a MAJOR attitude problem. The grooming was OK but the professionalism is extremely poor. Looks like I am not the only one to experience this with Karen the owner. If you go there know that once they finish with your pet you have a short 30 minutes to go get your pet. They don't tell you this upfront but they will call and yell at you later as well as call you a poor animal owner for not being at Karen's beckon call. There is a post-it not beside the register mentioning this but you don't go to the register until you pick up the pet. Save yourself a day of frustration and skip this place. I always try to support my local businesses but this one is not worth supporting. As stated the grooming was OK but just OK at best. I can only imagine how they treat the animals. I sure hope it's better than they treat the humans that pay for the service. I do know my dog came out with it's tail between his legs and ran out of there. SAD! read more
