Found this place online when researching places to stay on my road trip. This place is a gem. Old fashioned service (you actually speak to a person on the phone) :) Friendly too. Room was themed (Arizona) and comfortable. Room as well as property was very clean. As i was arriving late, my paperwork and keys were found where they said they would be. The vintage vibe is wonderful. Slept well, didn't hear anyone else even though the lot was full. I would stay here again. read more

Clean room, vintage but very thematic decor. Owners friendly and keep a a watch out for strangers on the property, does give more comfort about your vehicle. I would certainly look them up when passing through Winslow again. read more

This little motel will surprise you. Don't let the little old sign fool you. Our room 10 was fully remodeled. They tiled the bathroom in a cool black and white 50's era yet very modern style. You can adjust your temperature as needed on the new air conditioning units. The floors are all newly tiled. We slept quietly and comfortably on the new bedding. I couldn't recommend this motel more. The owner called to check on me when we were later than our expected arrival time. She made arrangements for our late arrival so that we could go straight to our room for the night. I didn't take photos because our stay was short but this motel was clean clean clean. read more

Love this motel that is located right off the interstate. It's convenient to the dining and shopping are of Winslow. The rooms are impeccably clean. The beds are comfortable and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. We have stayed twice and plan to stay again when it is on our route of travel. The rooms are themed. We stayed in the Beatles room and the Marilyn Monroe rooms so far. Loved them both!! read more

Charming, clean, old Route 66 classic style Motel where your car is parked in front of your room. I wanted to stay in this style motel but was concerned about the condition of the rooms. This place has been renovated, with different themed decor for each room, which is kind of fun. It was soooo clean! It is reasonably priced. The owner was pleasant and welcoming. We had a comfortable stay and would stay here if we are ever again in the area. Also, it had a comfortable outdoor seating area but we were there when it was too cold to enjoy. read more

Clean rooms, fun decor, but too weird. This place has signs up directing people not to back-in when parking. They're worried about careless folks backing into the supports for the roof. I will usually follow that, but had some equipment in the back of my truck, so I made a point of carefully backing in and stopped a generous 4-5 feet away from the building. Given the layout of the lot, it wouldn't have caused any issues, and there was clearly no danger of my hitting anything. Within a minute, the manager was knocking on my door. She said the owners were watching the "16 cameras" at the motel and had called her to tell me to turn the car around. I pointed out the equipment and that I'd parked carefully, away from the building. She wasn't asking. It needed to be turned around, immediately. "The owners would have her head." So, I did. Looked around. Yup, cameras everywhere. Kind of got the vibe that the "manager" might be the owner? But she seemed legitimately scared and the whole situation was just weird. Concluded there was a good chance there were strange, unseen people watching me at all times. Will not be coming back. Uncomfortable. read more

Stopped in on our 2022 Route 66 trip. Was a little hesitant till we went in our room. The area look a like less than desirable, but the owner was great and very helpful. The room was clean neat and cool themed. The building is a little dated but they have done it up nice. I would stay again. read more

A real find in the world of run down chain motels. Spotlessly clean and run by friendly and helpful people. It's newly remodeled with rooms decorated in different themes. We stayed in the Military Veterans Room. You can't go wrong staying here and the price is right. read more

The cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Period. I usually stay in Flag for the holidays, but the C-19 keeps me from visiting family. Still have business out on the Rez, so I end up here. I tell you what, tho, after all this C-19 stuff and I can visit family in Flag, I'll probably stay here again. To think I've been wasting $225+ at run-down "historical" hotels in Flag, when we have our own hipster Joshua Tree like hotel right here!! read more

Stayed here for the "too broke for sturgis" bike event. The owners are wonderful people, the rooms are very clean, and they even have security motion sensors in place so if you aren't staying there and come on the property they will know instantly. Very impressed for a small motel in a quiet town. read more

Cheap rates, great location, very clean, cozy (we felt at home), super friendly staff, comfy beds, hot shower with incredible water pressure, bath soap with built in scrub (don't know how to describe it), well lit parking right at room door, video surveillance all through parking lot, fridge/microwave in room, continental breakfast included, Route 66 themed rooms--all different. We were thrilled when we got in the room and saw it. Only $70 for the 3 of us. Unheard of nowadays. read more

Great place! We stayed in the Beatles room and I loved it. The shower curtain and bedspread were tie dye! And there was a blanket with a marijuana leaf on it. And there were Beatles posters and photos on the walls. There was also a nice sofa and one end had an ottoman-like extension where I could put my feet up. Very comfy! A nice low cabinet for luggage was great. The woman in the office (the owner?) was extremely nice and helpful, too. Best room I've had! I'd love to stay there again!!! read more

If you're looking for fancy, this is not for you. If you're looking for relatively clean and basic to crash for the night, this is the place. Passing through Winslow on the way out to CA, desperately trying to find a place between here and in Flagstaff that does not have bedbugs. Even the 4 star, 120 dollar a night hotels were not spared. No thanks. Came across this gem! Totally kitsch and seemed like you were staying in someone's spare bedroom than a motel. Each room is themed differently, we ended up with classic cars. Did the bed bug check (as I always do) and it passed. Pet friendly, only a 5 dollar charge for ESA (thank you). Cereal and various packaged pastries and coffee for breakfast. Cute cats in the office. The shower in room 6 was a little broken but we made it work. Don't look past this place on the map ya'll! read more

Sooooooo I think the last time I wrote a Yelp review was at least 3 years ago, but I have to say this was an exceptional service experience worth breaking my review-free streak...we haven't even checked in yet but this motel is already worth writing about! My boyfriend and I (and our dog, Lily) booked a room last minute and couldn't have picked a better place to land. Not only was the front desk lady an absolute angel in accommodating our late arrival (Debbie, did it hurt when you fell from heaven?), she also offered to turn the heat on before we arrived so the room was toasty and waiting for us! Although they close check-in at 10 pm nowadays, Debbie (hey girl heeeey!) assured us it was no problem to wait for our 12:30 am arrival. She explained the rooms and themes and totaled our fee (approximately $100, including cleaning and pet fee!...now that's a LEGAL STEAL) We haven't landed yet but I'm confident from the pre-game we're going to keep giving 5 stars to this hotel party. Will update later, but looking forward to the perfect blend of clean, comfy, and road trip essential clutch-kitschy. read more

We stopped at the gift shop on the corner in Winslow, Arizona and Don (if you stop there, you'll probably meet him :) told us about the Delta when we inquired about places to stay in Winslow. He mentioned cupcakes and clean, and that was enough for us. The Delta is small, kitschy, old-school awesomeness. They have an Elvis room. A Marilyn room. An Arizona room. A Beatles room. A John Wayne room, etc. It was too perfect! And while dated, the Delta was well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The proprietors are lovely people, it's a great value and a nice bow to the route 66 of days gone by. Plus, Don was right- the cupcakes were awesome! read more

GREAT stay: Cute, comfy, clean & CUPCAKES! Free PW protected WiFi Free continental breakfast THEMED retro rooms in tiny town w/ rock-n-roll history. "Take it easy" - Eagles We had Room Route 66. Owner (Chuck), thinks it has the most comfortable bed. Bed is very comfy & we slept soundly. Speaking of sleeping soundly.... It's a cinder block hotel - which means it's quiet. We called an hour out & heard a large group was on their way in; but we didn't hear them arrive or the next door neighbors. Very quiet. However there is a train in the distance. Other rooms: Beatles, Elvis, Corvette Summer, Marilyn Monroe, John Wayne. The owner (Chuck) is friendly, helpful & a personal friend of Mr. Route 66. His wife makes yummy cupcakes for their guests and we got them at check-in. We were driving from CA to NM & made a last minute decision to stay in Winslow. I guess this place sorta "takes me back" .. Ok I'm not that old. But, it's the feeling I get on this road trip in this town. So stay here, unplug and take it easy. read more

My Dog and I were doing a Road Trip in a Truck I just bought. Wanted something quiet and clean. Super quiet, clean,..very quaint,..had a comforting aura about it. Joy the Host was super nice and my Dog wants to marry her. Peanut Butter Reeses Cereal and Coffee for Breakfast. Slept like a Log,...super peaceful. Rooms were super clean,..place was warm. (It was 35 and super windy. Great place to stay. Joy is super nice. I highly recommend Delta over chain hotels. read more

The owner was very nice and the price quoted was not only very reasonable, but also it was the REAL total price, none of the usual hidden taxes etc. That itself is a welcome change. This place is awesome! Great place to stay, safe and well lit up. One way in with motion sensors, trust me, if you don't belong there.....the owner will be there in a flash. I stayed there when I was working out of Winslow. You definitely get what you pay for! Owners are great and accommodating! Clean! Clean! Clean! Tons of hot water!
