Changed price of the listing even though the car doesn't exist.

I will preface this by saying if you are going in to look at the 2024 Outlander sport that is orange, they DO NOT have the vehicle, it does not exist. I inquired about a 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport that I had seen on their website that was listed at $14,767 with only 4,000 miles on it. I confirmed that day, a few hours before my appointment with Stacey that the car was on the lot and available to be test driven. I got there, waited for a bit since they were busy, (which was understandable, they said they only had 2 people on the floor). I was supposed to talk about things with someone named Brandon, but was actually speaking with someone named Nate. They told me they were bringing out the car I was there to see, they did not tell me they didn't have the car the whole 20-30 min I was waiting. We finally get to go out to see the car I made the appointment about and he tells me as we're walking out that that car isn't on the lot. He conveniently had a bright orange 2026 model out in the parking lot waiting for us though. I asked why they didn't have the car and he said "I don't know where it is". And when I mentioned the price to him, he said "oh that 2024 is for $19k". He showed me the listing, (how are they able to show me the listing, but the car isn't on the lot?), and it does show a brand new price of $19,499. That means they knew the car wasn't there on the lot for a while, they saw that I wanted to come in and see it, and when I arrived, they decided to change the price as I walked in the door as if I didn't screenshot the original prices. On top of that, they tried to convince me to try and lease a car when I prefer to purchase. His sales manager Pate kept hounding me and giving me quizzical looks like I was stupid when I kept saying I didn't want to lease a car that day. She eventually stopped when I said I was ONLY there because of that original priced car and I would not be leasing or purchasing anything else that day. I repeat, if you're going in because of the 2024 Outlander sport that's bright orange, and now listed for $19,499, they do not have the car and are just using the ad as a bait to get you in.

Listing didn't match what the vehicle had as far as features. Service was minimal. Felt bounced around even though we had an appointment.

Car bought was in good condition. *5-star rating reserved only for dealers who add only tax and $175 doc fee to advertised price. They also should have changed the oil prior to sale, since it was slightly past due.* First thing people want to know: there is no bait-and-switch or time-wasting. You ask about a car, you'll get to see it and drive it. I purchased a used Acura RDX from them recently, and overall, I would say it was a good experience. The car was cleaned well prior to the test-drive, and they kept the appointment time. They were also accommodating for my arrival time change. The salesman was knowledgeable and attentive. The OTD price was very good. Having said that, the fee for nitro fill ($399, should be $0) and doc ($799, should be $175) is essentially mandatory, and that adds $1023 to the sticker price. For those who don't know, nitro fill is not a value-add (normal free air at Quickchek is 78% nitrogen, as is the air you're breathing right now). The doc fee should really be $175 (reference NY regulations on this fee). In their defense, almost all dealers charge these kind of fees in order to get to the bottom of price sorting searches, so competition pretty much dictates that they need to use these practices, too. I can understand the need to cover overhead, staff, rent, etc at a premium high-income location, but I would prefer that dealers operate like Carvana/Carmax and just build it all into the price, as opposed to tacking this on at the end in order to appear at the low-end of price-sorting on cars.com. ~1 month ownership check: No mechanical or other functional issues have come up. Car running great and as-advertised. I did need to change the oil, as the oil was last changed 1 year ago, and they should have done that prior to sale.

We made an appointment the day before making the 2.5 hour drive to see a specific model we've been interested in, and were very pleased that we didn't have to spend all day there. The wait times between the test drive and paperwork signing were minimal, and everyone we interacted with was super friendly and nice to chat with.

This is where my dad got his Lexus RX350 in 2011...It was his last car. So on the urging of my…read morebrother he asked if I would consider a Lexus GX550 Premium+...Still in my ballpark of no more than $70k (tax is tax and you pay no matter what so I never factor it in). Plus I was tired of renting cars and wanted a car here. Paying cash makes that an easy thing to deal with by the way. Plus I hate payments. I was in shorts and button up shirt when we went to the dealership which by the way was not busy. Keep in mind, the GX550 is an upped up and glorified Toyota Land Cruiser...I looked at it and liked it better than the Toyota version. Hell it stickered at $68k but those 20inch wheels are a no, no for me but I can deal by replacing the tires with AT ones easily. The looks were nice...Heck, they had green which is my favorite color as seen in the pictures. No engagement or greeting from a sales person and I am here looking, playing with and checking it out in depth. The fact not a single salesperson approached me doomed the dealership as it gave me time to think if this car can meet my lifestyle demands and character. Serious if someone had possibly spoken to me, I would have had a 60/40 chance of getting it... 60% in favor! I liked it and they had green! But alas, the sales people walked by me and were content to selectively engage people that seemed "better dressed" than me like one family who arrived a little after me who someone greeted and sat down with. I just continued to check the GX out, fitted myself, played with electronics, etc. Plus, I sent pictures to my cousin (she is like a sister) and she liked it but always tells me something she has known for years..."you are a Jeep guy". Her text ended my desire to stay and be swayed. I told my brother I am leaving. I spent over 45 minutes in there. The place is immaculate and cars set up to see and sit in...However, the sales manager needs to know this no matter what, make sure your staff greets people. Say hi...Ask if you have been helped...Call someone over. Heck I even saw a couple of sales people just chatting with front desk girls. Serious sales manager, don't keep the slimy car sales reputation alive!!! I should be grateful as this saved me $5k compared to the Wrangler I got. I could have bought a Lexus GX559 Premium+ that day but didn't so thank you for the lack of customer experience and not greeting me or helping me Prestige Lexus. Thank you to my cousin for snapping me out of the luxury cloud I was in. The poor experience made it easier to go to Jeep the next day and get a Wrangler.

Dani gave us the price, applicable discounts and even asked for a little more and got it! Spoke to my cousin and said that is an awesome deal, he said yeah and said he found his Jeep. We said we would be back tomorrow afternoon to come get it. Dani was awesome throughout and no pressure. We came back the next day and Dani made it very easy to buy a car and knew her stuff which really goes a long way....I bought a Jeep from Manny a month before in August and had a similar excellent experience. Jason in finance was awesome! Gave my cousin the lay of the land but my cousin was not going to buy the extended warranty...I asked Jason to leave and talked my cousin into protecting his car because I have both warranties and if he is going to get one to at least cover the car for 10 years and 120k...Mine is 10 years and 150k miles...I said peace of mind and told him look at all the crazy shit we do, trips and lifestyles we have (we hunt, golf, snowboard, mtn bike, ride motorcycles, etc. and do a lot more outdoors stuff). Brought Jason back in to go over coverages and go over price to make it happen. Done deal and EZ PZ. Great job by Jason on getting the warranty plan within the pricing constraints. Mike in delivery was very solid as he got my car delivered last month!! Car was good to go with no concerns. Got my cousin set up and ready to take delivery. Thank you Mike! He is reliable and should be promoted. So I bought a Jeep Wrangler a month ago at Ramsey Jeep and now my cousin buys a Jeep Gladiator at Ramsey Jeep. We will never be back other than turning in this last dumpster fire of a truck and strongly advise everyone else to avoid this place at all costs. First jeep was given to us with ripped seats, damaged bumpers and paint, missing floor mats that were paid for and also damaged rims. Had to hunt down the salesman at the time (Joey) for weeks until it was finally taken care of. After bringing the truck in for service, loose tools were left in the engine bay which I spotted while one of the employee was showing me something at the dealership. Second jeep had such bad mechanical issues they had to keep the car and "run tests" for over a month, eventually leading to them taking the jeep back completely and giving us another. The salesmen explain nothing to you in the hopes you don't realize or question what their doing, all the while you're getting silently shafted. Save yourself years of headaches and either go to another dealership or get yourself a different brand car completely.
