Amazing place, such a town staple. Wonderful selection of ice cream and I look forward to coming here every summer.

Only a ten minute drive away, we hoped in the car, with high expectations. It's located off of route 25 in Parsonsfield Maine, just before the Cornish town line. It's connected to the flower and garden shop. It's got a large parking lot for several cars and the walk up window is easy and accessible to all. They have a small sitting area with a few picnic tables and umbrellas. They have a large selection of ice cream and a few options for dairy free folks, which we have in our party. The dairy free is of a slightly crumbly texture but still delicious. They have several options to choose from for cones as well, including regular, sugar, waffle, special waffle, unicorn and dinosaurs. They also have several options for specials as well, including frappes, sundaes, shakes, splits, flurries, and my favorite a 3 choice sampler board. They have baby cones and pup cups, so the whole family can enjoy. They have soft and hard serve, which has several flavors to choose from. They seem to take pride in their ice cream. The service has always been good. A bit slow when there is a line and 2 people on, but what do you expect. The prices are very decent and you get what you're paying for, for sure. They have a nice photograph of the different sizes they sell. They take cash and cards, and tips are generally accepted !

Unfortunately... Really wanted to love this place. Have no idea how it gets the business it does,…read moreother than its placement for all the camp goers, I guess. Have no idea how this place survives through the winter. Nothing about this establishment is homemade. At all. Look at the ingredients, they're really bad. Nothing natural about a shred of it. But I'm not too stuck up to try, so I gave it a go, anyway. And, it was disgusting. The second star I gave is for the ginger, that was about on par with another establishment I have tried. I try to give credit wherever it is due! Decent building, clean, surprising space from the outside you can't tell, cute touristy sales items; this is their best feature. For some reason the ice cream freezers in full view of the sun, their electric bill must be astronomical. I ordered a frappe. Yikes. Soda and milk were blended together, and I'm guessing ice cream was in there too, but you couldn't tell. I don't drink soda, and I LOVE ice cream. So when I tell you that I would rather have just drank the soda, that's a big deal. I took two sips and threw the rest away. Horrific. The flavour was extremely nasty, and I wasn't about to do that to my body, just because I'd paid for it. I'm so sad. We need more small businesses!! If they were at least honest about their marketing, that would be a huge step. And someone who knows something about ice cream and flavours really needs to help them curate their menu and how to actually make ice cream and ice cream products. That would be TRANSFORMATIVE!! For the betterment of your business and community, please consider.

I think they have a mixture of homemade and other brands, as well. Also a real family running this?! Talk about the good ole days, I love this so much!!!! THIS is what we need more of, in life!!! The speed limit on White…read moreMountain Highway (Route 16) is high enough that it's easy to cruise right past without realizing it. On our last visit, that's exactly what happened, but turning around was simple, and it turned out to be well worth the minor detour. The market has that classic New England country-store feel, but it's more than just an old-fashioned stop. They really put an emphasis on homemade goods and supporting local vendors, which makes browsing the shelves a bit of an adventure. Fresh vegetables, baked goods, and locally made products line the inside, giving it the vibe of a small community hub rather than a generic roadside stop. For a quick bite, the sandwiches are perfectly sufficient--nothing fancy, but they do the job when you're on the road and just need something fast. Ice cream is another draw, especially in the warmer months, and it makes for a nice excuse to linger outside for a few minutes. Parking is plentiful, with a dedicated lot that makes pulling in and out stress-free (something you really appreciate after a few hours of driving). Outdoor seating is available too, so you don't have to rush right back into the car--you can actually enjoy a few quiet minutes off the road. One drawback worth noting: they don't have public bathrooms. Not a dealbreaker, but something to plan around if you're making it a stop during a longer drive. Overall, Town Farm Country Market is a solid choice if you're passing through the area. It's easy to miss if you're not paying attention, but once you find it, it's a welcoming little spot that checks all the boxes: local goods, fresh produce, ice cream, and a chance to stretch your legs.
