Lakeside Dairy Bar is the best!!! The ice cream is amazing as is the service and location! The serving sizes are large and the ice cream varieties are extensive. We vacation in the area every summer and always come back at least twice during our visit. Highly recommend visiting when you are in the area. Such a wonderful place for families! A+ read more

Lakeside Dairy Bar - Two ice cream cones, two cups of ice cream and a sundae - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Naples, Maine

Lots of flavors to choose from and always friendly service. They also have soft-serve. The small cones are more than enough for me! Lines can be long but they move quickly. read more

This place could just as easily be called "Maine summertime". A beautiful spot no matter whether you sit and enjoy your ice cream or (my preference) you walk down the Causeway with it. The servings are generous. The counter staff is always friendly. The choices and options are plentiful. The prices are fair. The ice cream is delicious!!! I had soft serve (coffee and black raspberry twist in a waffle cone) on Sunday. Hard (peanut butter chocolate chip in a sugar cone), yesterday with the grandchildren. One of them went for traditional OG cookie dough, and the other had blueberry. Yes...I went two days in a row. Ice cream beside the lake doesn't have calories. Everybody knows that. read more

The ice cream there is very good. They have a lot of options. The only thing that I did not like is that there is a long wait. Don't get a large ice cream (unless you are Queso, of course) -- they are way too big, but overall, they are very good. read more

Fantastic ice cream! The sundae I had, which was the nutter butter was awesome! They have good waffle cones.

We tried out different flavors. Nice flavors and extensive selection, decent ice cream Between 3 to 3.5 stars read more

Nice selection Good staff Great hours. We like the Muddy moose flavor and will be back again for it. read more

Yummy ice cream and great prices! I had the "Maine Black Bear" two nights in a row. The staff are nice enough, plus they have a few tables outside to sit. But I choose to take mine down to a bench by the water. I would definitely recommend if your in the area and looking for a treat. read more

Lakeside Dairy Bar - a hand holding a bowl of ice cream - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Naples, Maine

The food sagged down from the big ice cream scoops, it was good, but it was not the right portion of ice cream for the cone. And the sticker was hard to peel. The service was good. The ambiance of the place was decent, I saw the place not with homeless people, but the porter potty was not that clean. read more

Great ice cream and friendly window service! Always long lines on hot days but it goes fast.

Very very good service and excellent ice cream. Funny, people say they can't find help these days but this place had help and everyone was smiling. They're doing things right here. read more

The ice cream was very mediocre. Some people complained it had that ice/frostbite texture to it. The reason I would never return is the rude employee (who acted like an owner and possibly might've been one) at the ordering window. She acted as though she was aggravated we were even there. She was not helpful with the questions we asked. Too many other great ice creams places in the area to spend money at Lakeside Dairy Bar again! read more

This place has THE BEST ice cream! And docks! So drive your boat or your car on over! Bring the whole family; children, grandma, dogs, cats, ferrets - ok maybe leave the rodents/small mammals(?) at home - they can't have dairy anyway right? - all of em! They have OUTDOOR seating, lots of picnic tables and umbrellas for shade on those wonderful summer days. And THE BEST service to match their delicious ice cream selection. Oh and if you're looking to purchase a new watercraft, in the same parking lot is Long Lake Marina. They'll take great care of you too! Love the local family running both establishments. Good Maine folks, and you'd be lucky to find yourself over this way on a hot day. read more

I am embarrassed to tell you how many times a week i am here with the kids. I love it here. It is clean and friendly and the service is fast. We are huge fans of softserve. They have a few more flavors than vanilla and chocolate which is great for us. I love the black raspberry and vanilla (or sometimes cake batter) swirl. It is beautiful at night. They have lots of lights hanging and a variety of types of seats to sit in (not just a few picnic tables). We like to order our ice cream then walk down the Causeway by the water. Parking is good, on the street or in the lot. It's almost 5:30, a quick dinner then off for ice cream! read more

Just ok ,has Annabelle's ice cream nothing special, cones were good size scoops. We also had a Coffee Frappe it was not thick (more like a milk shake,)and did not have a lot of coffee flavor. Too many dogs for my liking . Will not be back. read more

Great selection! This place is CASH ONLY although they have an atm. Lots of picnic tables to eat your ice cream at.

We absolutely love this place! My husband has been coming to Naples annually for the last 25+ years and he's always talking about his family's multiple dairy bar visits. Since we've started coming as a couple, I can see what all the fuss is about. Delicious soft serve, generous portions and the perfect setting on Long Lake. Make an effort to take a boat ride to the Long Lake Marina, dock up and try a blackberry and vanilla swirl which chocolate sprinkles (or as the locals call them "jimmies"). Enjoy! read more

I am absolutely in love with this place! All around such a great ice cream place. The service is incredibly friendly, the place is always clean, and the ice cream is completely delicious. I think this is the perfect location off of Long Lake in Naples, especially since you can pull up right onto the dock at Long Lake Marina. Some of the flavors are incredibly unique and taste like nothing you've had before! They have my absolutely favorite, Cruchy Toffee, which is so good. But they also have fun flavors like Pumpkin Pie, Maple Walnut, and a Mint Summer's Night Dream. All of them are delicious, and I recommend trying them all, since goodness knows I have. I highly recommend this place, for of the good qualities I have seen in it. And make sure you don't confuse this Dairy Bar for the other one shaped like a gazebo, I have been there a time or two, and the sizes are much smaller for a much greater price, plus not as friendly as the Lakeside one! read more

Our go-to ice cream place when in the Seabgo Lake region. They have a wide range of locally-made ice cream flavors (they don't make their own), and the service is reasonably fast. During a warm summer night on the weekend, expect to wait a while, since there aren't really that many ice cream places around, so it attracts a big line. read more

Needs to improve somewhat. I have vacationed here in Naples once or twice yearly for close to 20 years and traditionally we get ice cream at this location once or twice for each week we have stayed here every year. In the past I have had no complaints. This year quality and service level has gone down a bit. Ordered a large sundae with maple walnut and a Carmel cashew delight ( may have the name of the second ice cream in error) . Got the maple walnut but was given chocolate chip for my second ice cream by mistake. Also had asked them to give less ice cream to leave room for extra hot fudge and caramel. As far as I can tell no effort was made to comply with this request. (I made the same request when I came yesterday and they did comply with my request on that day) We went in with a large group of 9 people although I will say the service was quick, and the servers were pleasant , we felt that the ice cream just did not taste as good as it has in the past. One of our party complained that there were ice chips in her chocolate cake soft serve for 2 of our party ice cream was falling off the cones for hard serve. We watched a child in another family just leave the window and have his ice cream fall off the cone. He caught it with his hand and the server then put it in a bowl for the child. Seems like the servers are just not pushing the ice cream down into the cone far enough. Bottom line they need to upgrade to better brand of ice cream, and service window crew needs to be more careful and make an effort to push hard serve ice cream into the cones so the ice cream does not fall off read more

Best ice cream in Maine! The medium size soft serve is HUGE and they can give you chocolate jimmies on the side! 10/10

Best ice cream around! Annabelle's Natural ice cream is delicious, with great flavors to choose from, and without a bunch of bad ingredients. One of the few places around that doesn't serve Gifford's, yay! The service is friendly as well. read more
