It was my 1st time and I thought it was endearing. The rocking chairs give it a country vibe. They really capitalized on the space to allow different opportunities. The outside patio is large and from what I can tell always packed for a weekend event. I tried 4 wines and settle on 2 of the sweeter ones. They were good but definitely sweeter than a dinner wine. I rarely get to enjoy sweet ones so I grabbed a few bottles for home. Its definitely a vibe and the tasting experience it's lovely too.

Several powerful testimonies were shared from women who had gone through the House of Pearl's recovery program. Their testimonies of recovery from addiction are truly inspiring. The event was hosted outdoors. Refreshments were generously offered to all who attended this event. There was prayer, testimonies of recovery, and a beautiful song of worship at the end. I left inspired. I was given materials from the House of Pearl's booth which I will be sure to utilize to the women God brings across my path. Stopped back in during the week for a quick lunch with my mom and sister. The house was lovely as…read moreusually and the staff nice as ever. We opted for a mix of hot and ice teas. I highly recommend the strawberry tea...taste like summer. We started with the cheese ball sampler. Not my fav as the flavors were not there. It came with 3 mini cheese balls; pimento, goat cheese and a garden veg with pineapple (IKR). Again, great presentation but none of the cheese balls had much flavor to match the name. For entrees we opted for the chicken salad sandwich, the chicken pot pie and the country chicken casserole. My sister loved the chicken salad, my mom just ate most of the filling of the pot pie, I was not a fan of the casserole (one note, no veggies and everything was mushy except the "herb" bread crumbs on top). Next time I will stick to tea and the lovely finger sandwiches and room for the lovely desserts from the bake shop.

I went with the Fruit & Chocolate (my favorite was the Aglianico) and my husband got the Bold & Distinct (his favorite was the Filia, which we got a bottle of). Alexa, the owners daughter, was knowledgeable about all their wines and incredibly sweet to chat with. The property & tasting room is in a great location. The outside patio/deck is shaded and elevated giving it a beautiful view of the pond below. We came kidless this visit, but will def be back with our children in tow next time. There are big grassy areas they can run around & okay. Only 10 min outside downtown Monroe. Had a great time, and we will be back!
