A coffee shop in a child's play place? Yup. And amazingly good espresso and coffee! Want an…read moreespresso? Go here. Period. We were visiting this area, and lamenting the lack of a coffee shop to fuel us for the drive back to Raleigh, when someone pointed use here. I honestly felt like it was going to be more adventure than enjoyment, and after figuring out which door to go in, my mind wasn't changed. It was pretty empty, but great seating and fun country-home decor. The gal running the place was passionate about her coffee. My companion got a drink off the menu, and I watched her grind and fuss over it to get it just right. When it came to my turn, I asked her to make me her favorite. I was not disappointed! The perfect shot of hazelnut flavor, and a smooth carmely bean and I was wishing I could be a better expert so that I could do this review justice!

There are no posted hours on the door and the sign says "closed". I can only guess that the business has closed permanently. If not, I would still not recommend them due to the erratic and uncertain operating hours. There's nothing worse than stopping at a place which should be open and find out it's closed.

The vibe is cozy but modern, with friendly staff who actually seem happy to be there (a rarity these days!). Try something NEW!!! Like a honey cinnamon latte and a fresh baked pastry, and both are incredible! You can tell they put care into every detail--from the coffee beans to the presentation. They also have an impressive variety of drinks and flavors--whether you're into seasonal lattes, strong cold brews, or just a classic cup done right, Creama Cafe has you covered! If you're anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in. Local spots like this are rare, and Creama Cafe is doing it right!

Such a cute little spot right off 74 in Marshville. They have picnic tables and seating outside,…read moreplus a few tiny tables inside. They have a case full of bakery items and a case full of ice cream as well! Lots of hot and cold drink options, and many flavors to choose from including a nice selection of sugar free flavors! Service was nice enough, but not as warm as I expected. When drinks were made, they were just put on the counter and no one knew who it was for which was a bit odd. I got a hot latte that was decent, but not in my top 10. Would stop again if driving by, just wouldn't be a destination.

I cannot believe how many times I have driven through Wadesboro and never even knew this…read morerestaurant/butcher/convenient store existed. It is only a few miles off of 74, so a very short detour for a very delicious reward. I ordered a hot dog and sat at the community table and waited patiently. My order did not come quickly because all orders are made with care and there were multiple large orders to go ahead of me. When my order finally arrived, my hot dog was the first hot dog I have ever received that truly had extra mustard, as requested and the french fries were generous and piping hot. I mean burn your fingers hot. A customer told me that they grind their hamburger meat and make the sausage. This will be a stop every trip to the beach both ways. If you are searching restaurants in Wadesboro this is worth visiting and frankly worth driving from Charlotte just to try. Bring a cooler to take home some delicious steaks and sausage.

Rayfield Meat Center was where I picked for lunch in Anson County. It was a memorable experience…read morewith very friendly service. Rayfield Meat Center is a combination of a convenience store, restaurant and meat counter and cut it how you like. I met quite a few people ordering meats and was told it was the best in the area. It is a local hole in the wall, my favorite type of place to shop and dine. There is a small area to eat in the front of the store with all the condiments you could want and when I left saw more tables outside. I ordered the cheeseburger special that came with mustard, ketchup and mayonnaise on it. It came with a cup of fries and a humongous-sized sweet tea. I don't remember what I paid but I don't think it was much. The burger was delicious and was very thick, so they didn't skimp on the portion. If you are in Wadesboro, make sure to stop at Rayfield Meat Center.

The wine is good, the people are friendly, and time just seems to carelessly go by. The owners are really nice and informational about their products. Family owned and run vineyard off the beaten path that is a must-see. We did a tasting for $12 and…read morewere able to sample all 9 wines! The owners behind the bar take time to explain each wine and share their story. I enjoy a nice glass of wine but usually pick a sweeter Moscato type wine, but I liked every single one of their wines. Normally, I found dry to tart, but these dry wines had such delicious, crisp flavors, I loved them. My personal favorite was the blackberry wine with Sanctuary a close second. In short, no matter what wine you get, you can't go wrong. This is a beautiful property. You can sit in a rocking chair and look out to the vineyard, the screened in porch, or grab a seat in the tasting room.
