I love that they have a sugar-free option in their ice cream menu, the only part I would've preferred was that they had more than just that single option (for sugar-free selections). That said I have no complaints, everybody here was very pleasant and welcoming and professional, and the product itself was high quality for sure. I would love to give this place five full stars but I'll hold off until they have a few more sugar-free options for folks. I mean it though it's only the fact that they had just one choice of sugar free ice cream, that is the ONLY downside. But I can tell they're on the way up so the next time I go out there I hope to update this review with a fifth star!! That said, I will say we got two desserts here one was the strawberry shortcake. It tasted absolutely phenomenal, very fresh. I wouldn't be surprised if that was homemade ice cream, and it could've been more than a few hours old shortcake. The second dessert we tried was the peach cobbler with the butter, pecan, sugar-free ice cream, I could not tell that it was sugar-free, some of the best sugar-free ice cream I've ever had, And the dessert itself once again tasted extremely fresh. I made the statement after it was all over, that I can absolutely tell (from my experience today at Peaches n Cream) when something is fresh and when it's not. They really know how to do it.

Heading toward adventure, Mrs. K. interrupted the tunes on the radio to declare (half playful, half…read moreserious) that she wanted a coffee soonish. A quick check of the map showed Nana's Coffee was right on our route, so it became an easy and welcome stop. The storefront is small and unassuming, tucked into a quiet stretch of road, but inside it opens up into a cozy space that doubles as both ice cream parlor and coffee shop. There are plenty of tables, and I got the impression they'd be perfectly fine with someone settling in for a while with a laptop if you're looking for a remote cowork spot with a bit of charm. We ordered a latte, and it was excellent. Generous foam piled high, with very hot coffee underneath that held its heat all the way through. The drink was well-balanced, not too bitter, and served with a quiet warmth that matched the atmosphere. Nana's Coffee may not be flashy, but it's clearly a place that values hospitality. Whether you're pausing mid-journey or looking for a low-key place to work, it's well worth the stop. The blend of ice cream, espresso, and relaxed seating makes it feel like a little pocket of comfort tucked into the day. [Review 1319 of 2025 - 4448 in North Carolina - 24871 overall]

We were visiting this area, and lamenting the lack of a coffee shop to fuel us for the drive back to Raleigh, when someone pointed use here. I honestly felt like it was going to be more adventure than enjoyment, and after figuring out which door to go in, my mind wasn't changed. It was pretty empty, but great seating and fun country-home decor. The gal running the place was passionate about her coffee. My companion got a drink off the menu, and I watched her grind and fuss over it to get it just right. When it came to my turn, I asked her to make me her favorite. I was not disappointed! The perfect shot of hazelnut flavor, and a smooth carmely bean and I was wishing I could be a better expert so that I could do this review justice!

There are no posted hours on the door and the sign says "closed". I can only guess that the business has closed permanently. If not, I would still not recommend them due to the erratic and uncertain operating hours. There's nothing worse than stopping at a place which should be open and find out it's closed.

There is a long coffee flag so that's when you know that you are in the correct place. The different name on the building through me off. It's very spacious inside with plenty of seating. We were greeted and given menus which we then found a high top table, sat down and looked it over. We decided on the Alyssa crepes and morning glory sandwich. Allysa crepe- I would have ordered another plate if we didn't have another 2 hr drive to go. Between the fluffy eggs and the combination of the ingredients with absolutely mouth watering. I asked for hot sauce and it was complete. I would drive out of my way to come back here again. Morning glory sandwich- I don't know who raised these chickens to give such a different taste to them, but they were raised right. These were definitely happy chickens. Hard to explain but this sandwich and those fluffy eggs will keep you wanting more. Everyone there is so sweet and I'm happy to have had the experience of such an excellent breakfast. This is a rare find and I will be revisiting again.
