I wanted to meet Harold, but he was probably getting so much needed shut eye, perhaps 6 feet under; may his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace. Anyway, back to life above ground , there were some singers whom I'm sure had many other gifts, and some singers with exceptional voices. The karaoke jockey, KJ, was friendly and did a good job encouraging applause and a good vibe. There were several notable duets by female female and male female, as well as many solos. This writer may have been the second oldest person in the bar, so he felt a wee bit out of place, but the waitress made him feel welcome as did a very friendly young man named Roman and his friend - - she had a beautiful single-syllable name but my memory is failing. There were pizza and jalapeño pickled eggs available, but this writer did not treat himself to either, so he can't rate the food.

On this last visit, we sat on the rooftop patio, in a nice alcove area that probably seats about 10+ people between the wicker chairs and the high top. This would make a good hang out spot if you are coming with a group. The beers are always good, with a wide variety of options. For this visit, even though I was tempted to get the PB&J Sour (which actually tastes just like a PB&J), I ultimately had (two of) the Mango Orange Lime slushy drink. It was so good, and the staff commented as well on how it's a favorite of theirs. And speaking of staff, they are always very friendly and attentive, which serving you at the bar or stopping by your table to see if you need anything. Junkyard always has popcorn on hand, and while they have tasty pizzas as well, we just stuck with the popcorn and drinks on this visit. She did come back after taking some friends initial orders and ask if everything was ok. She hadn't brought any drinks yet! It was some of the worst service I've ever received in 35 years. They made a HUGE mistake by firing Tori. We will not be back. Dave, get your head out of your ass and beg Tori to come back.
