I particularly don't want to reveal how quickly Darrel can swing into action in an emergency. I don't understand why other contractors are so hard to schedule, but Darrel is the most accommodating tradesmen I have ever encountered. I suppose it won't be that risky to vouch for his high expertise and the efficiency with which he solves house wiring problems. Probably won't hurt to mention what a good guy he is and how well he explains what he is proposing to do or what he has done. He respects one's intelligence. Ok, ok, so his charges are reasonable, too. So anyway, as a favor to me, please don't hire Darrell for at least a few years so that I can have as much of his time as I want. I'm pretty old and you young people can afford to wait a while. If you are unwilling to grant my favor and you do hire Darrel, you will be getting the best electrician around. Contractors these days seem more interested in the big jobs than the everyday small ones we all have eventually. P&D concentrates on what he called the "Mom & Pop" jobs. It was a good thing for me - turns out my "small" job was a potentially very dangerous one, and P&D very likely save me from a fire. Cannot possibly recommend P&D more!
