I have never dealt with a more unprofessional business. They sent out 2 separate guys, both broke off pieces of equipment in our drain and were not able to retrieve them. We now have 3 pieces of snake in our drain and keep getting bills in the mail. I've called multiple times to try to resolve this only to be called a liar. They have a lot of turnover and very minimal training. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. One of their employees recommended we call EconoRooter because they are more experienced and have better tools to complete the job. That would be my recommendation as well. read more

I called Roto Rooter at 6:07 Friday night. The answering service said they would get someone out that night. I didn't get a call from them so I called them back a little past 9. The answering service again told me they would have someone call me. II explained to her all of our pipes are clogged and we can't run any water at all. She said she'll have someone call me. Yet no call back. The next day I called back at 10 am and let the answering service know I haven't heard from them yet. She called the manager who assured me they will get back to me. Here it is Sunday and I still haven't heard from them. Just moving to Oregon, this is the absolute worst service I've ever had. I also need a water heater installed. I was going to have them install it but I've called another plumber who answered and said they will be here in the morning. read more

I woke up with a plumbing disaster-sewage had backed up into the showers and overflowing the toilets. I called Roto Rooter and the person who answered the phone was very friendly and sympathetic. Scott showed up to snake the pipe and Kenny came a little later to pump out the septic-after finally finding the cover. Both men were very professional and extremely helpful! Problem was taken care quickly. I would definitely recommend them! read more

DON'T CALL THESE GUYS! Apparently, they charge you to call them and inquire about their services. We have a single bathroom house, and our toilet was clogged. I called around trying to see if I could get someone to come out the next day. They said they would "try to squeeze me in". Not feeling very confident about that, I told them I would keep calling around, and let them know if I found someone. They said fine, just call and they would take me off the list. As it happens, I did find someone who could come out right away, so I called Roto Rooter and told them I had someone, and they said that's fine. The guy from the other place came out, fixed the problem, we paid him cash, he gave us an invoice receipt and was on his way. 1 month later, I get a bill from RotoRooter billing me for THE SAME DAY that the other guy came out and fixed our problem. RotoRooter had never shown up to do any work, as we didn't need anymore work. I politely called them and let them know if their error, and was told that they had recently moved and could not find our invoice right at that moment, but she would keep looking. I never received a call back. Instead I received another bill, tacking on interest. I politely emailed them and told them I had no intention of paying for work that was not done, and if they could produce an invoice telling me what work they did on that date, I would gladly pay for the service. Of course I knew they could not produce an invoice because they had NOT COME TO OUR HOME. So I receive ANOTHER bill with MORE interest tacked on. The bill said the service provided was "Rooter". Just that. What does that mean? Did they unclog a drain? drain the septic tank? Fix a clogged sink? That could mean anything. There has never been an invoiced signed by anyone that details the work done. And there won't be, because, it bears repeating, THEY NEVER CAME TO MY HOUSE AND DID ANY WORK THAT DAY. So, now I am stuck with a bill that keeps getting higher every month, that was not for services rendered. (Did I mention I have witnesses that were home all day with me, and agree no one from RotoRooter came to our home?) I looked at their website after this all happened, they have exactly one customer review saying how great they are and knowledgeable and nice. I can't speak to that, as I never met them. I just talked to the secretary, who called me a liar. Also, I could not see any way to leave a review on their website, because believe me, I would have. This is not a COVID problem, this is dishonest business practices. I recommend staying away from this company, unless you wanted to get cheated. I was charged for calling them. Period. There are plenty of other plumbers and septic services in Roseburg. If I could pick negative stars or 0 stars, I would. Good luck to anyone who asks for their services. I hope they provide all the services you paid for. I, and my large extended family, will never call them again. read more

BEWARE!!! If I could give 0 I would. Absolutely the worst service and most unprofessional business I've ever dealt with. Put up with their BS for 2 years. When I had to call today to make yet another request to fix another of their mistakes (charged me for a service I did not order), the manager with a disgusting tone of voice told the receptionist "give him a refund" and then hung up on me. They also told me that when they do a good job they don't get any appreciation, lol. Can you imagine, a company expects appreciation for simply providing what's expected! These guys need to be put out of business. They don't show up as scheduled. They show up when not scheduled. The crews handle pumps and hides for raw sewage with no gloves or protection. They drop raw sewage on the ground in the process. Although the field crews are not the sharpest tools in the shed, they are way more competent than the management and office staff!!
