I heard every excuse in the books-I was too demanding and was told rude at times! I'm a 69 yr old widow! Would ask when's the start date?? When are they coming back?? Questioned when not enough product was bought or when product was delivered and not used and they just took it with them! Better yet, couldn't find the product number I picked out! The product wouldn't be ordered with continuous time delays. Construction crews would sit at Menards for product that was ordered or go get and it was a product that they needed hadn't been ordered! Wanted 24 hour access to my house (lock box with a key) absolutely didn't happen. I insisted to be present when work was being done-I didn't know any of the construction crews! Construction manager refused to deal with me-I was so over all of their excuses. He didn't turn the claim for repairs to my insurance company until end of July! I had to repeatedly call/text and ask when it was going to be submitted! He admittedly forgot. Texts and emails too many to count-phone calls to GM and owner unwarranted. I called them a cookie cutter company with absolutely no morals. Management at it's worst. I even called corporate finally after more anxiety than I needed and my basement not close to being done- I filed a report with the BBB in Nov 2023-although management lied thru their teeth to them! It did get the ball rolling. After 4 promised finished dates last in December 2023. It was done Feb.2024. i would never recommend them to do any construction remodels after mitigation. Absolutely the worst company ever. They don't even desire a 1 star rating!!

Behle eventually completed the job, but not without revising the project plan three times. This caused costs to rise fourfold, along with holding on to larger sums of deposits over time. What was supposed to be a straightforward job took nearly three months to complete. Originally, we were quoted for an 8-foot trenchless pipe repair job. This turned into a full line repair, requiring an additional third-party contractor to dig in the front yard. It took Behle three separate trips to provide an accurate project scope. The job started in early April and wasn't finished until late June, cutting into a family vacation that we had set as a hard deadline. We were consistently left in the dark about the next steps, had no confidence in the accuracy or completeness of any quote provided, and had to chase down their office and management team for details. While Steve and Kelsey were professional and apologetic when discussing these problems, Thomas offered the typical excuse of blaming workers, saying, "people don't want to work anymore and it's hard to find workers." Thomas showed limited sympathy or understanding, and at the end, offered a measly 5% discount for our troubles. Poor project management and poor communication.
