There are some campsites in the pines and some in a wide open field. There are no playgrounds for children to play at. There is a marina with a place to get food. I did not eat here so I can not address the quality of food here. If you want more activities to do besides boating, you should probably skip this state park and head to Sequoyah State Park a little bit more north.

Several boat ramps have been closed due to silt and them not wanting to spend money to maintain them. It is getting pretty grown up now, but you can still follow the roads to the side of the river to look for birds or fish. The closed boat ramps are secluded and there is poaching, be careful.
