I don't recommend this marina! If you are renting a boat or a jet ski this review is for you! We made reservations over the phone the day before our arrival for a jet ski and pontoon boat and paid what was required. We arrived early to sign papers and pay the difference, the charge seemed very high including two additional deposits but we were assured it will all get refunded. We waited for over an hour to get our jet ski and boat and since it was at the end of the day we were assured that we won't get charged for the missed hour, we were never offered the option to keep the boat pass our initial time to make up for the delay. When we returned the boat and jet ski, they showed us a picture of the jet ski and said we added two more "scratches" and that's considered damage. The jet sky was full of scratches, obvious wear and tear so we didn't think to take pictures of it. After I argued about the jet ski "damage" the guy said he'll only charge us $50 from our deposit. His attitude was off putting, zero customer service, he took no accountability for being late, stating he gave us a better boat so the hour we lost was made up by that. Without making this into a novel, they never reimbursed us the hour they were late and a 3 hour boat + jet ski ended up costing close to $1300 after reimbursement of the initial deposit! Luckily we looked at the credit card early the next day and we went down to get this sorted. We had to wait for the manager to dissect the playback of the whole thing and she came to the conclusion that we were overcharged $521. The whole time she acted that we were interfering with her "being in the middle of a deal" at the end of it all, NO APOLOGIES! We literally had to chase them to get our money back on what was supposed to be a vacation and nobody showed any kind of good customer service! There was a gentleman behind us who hadn't received his deposit so clearly they do this a lot! Mistakes happen but how they handled everything it made us feel that they are running a scam or are extremely incompetent, either way it's bad business! read more

Coming from out of town burnt cabin it's really nice great little hideaway ,restaurants very nice a little to spendy,rent a Sea-Doo $100 an hour, one of the cabins had a fly infestation,a lot of spider webs , spiders and bring your bug spray and citronella candles or something like that couple of the kids got ticks make sure you check for ticks and also apply your bug spray . read more

Excited to move our boat here for next season. The restaurant has the best menu on the lake and service and drinks are so fast! They stay open later than any other restaurant this side of lake. The store is very nice and has an awesome selection of beverages, apparel and sun necessities . Best part is hands down, the bathrooms!!! There is literally a full three stall restroom with AC! Super clean and safe to take your kids in. Looking forward to spending lots more time here next season! read more

Really cool place on the water to stop and have some drinks and lunch! The food was good

Not recommended, started off bad and I had a bad feeling about the place. Owner called to say they were closing at 2pm when the web site said 6pm. Got to the cabin, front door wouldn't shut, had to slam it every time,. The celling fan in the bedroom couldn't be used because the light wouldn't turn off. Bugs and hair left from other guest, shows me a poor job of house keeping. Pulled the bed out from the couch, which was a challenge because it's so old you had to use a stick to get the side bars down. Paying the pet deposit doesn't mean anything to this place (another buck in their pocket), because if you leave a dog hair, they are going to charge you. We will never go back!!! read more

Normally not a complainer but, we drove down to Lake Tenkiller from Tulsa and chose Burnt Lake Marina based on a friends recommendation. Beautiful area and lake but the actual Marina was just OK. Ski Boat we rented did the job but it was in poor condition. None of the gauges worked including (speedometer and gas gauge) Tilt and stereo were broken. Motor seemed to struggle most of the day.. Overall, we would definitely NOT rent here again because the boat was in poor condition and dirty, plus they said we used $90 in gas (even though the gas gauge was broken) in four hours, plus wanted to charge $60 rental for a very worn Tube. A $500 Tab for four hours of usage when other marinas in the area offer new boats for about the same or less. The lake is amazing and we wil be back but just not here...Only other positive was the lady working at the front desk was very nice... read more

I know it looks like a lot but PLZ read this before thinking about renting/staying here!!! 2nd year in a row getting screwed over in 2 totally different circumstances! Any person I've talked to up there have no idea what's going on or they just tell you what you want to hear(Need to get staff on THE SAME page and BETTER training). Last year I booked a boat a month ahead and the day of I called letting them know I'm 20mins out and they had rented out the boat w out ANY notification LITERALLY that happened...there was nothing they could do but refund me and I didn't even get my full refund. THIS year, same thing reserved the boat about 3weeks Pryor and unfortunately I came down w COVID 2 days before and once again when I called to canceled it the girl told me I WILL get my FULL refund if it got rented out and that I WOULD get a phone call letting me know that it DID. Well NONE of that happened I had a friend call to see if there were any boat rentals available and they told them no they're all booked which TOLD me that I should have received a CALL letting me know, RIGHT?! So I call and ask about my refund and they told me I only get $65 dollars of the $250.00 I put down. SMH! LITERALLY this happened too! They are DEF are about they're money and that's IT. read more

I recently purchased a 30 dollar wine cooler from the marina store. With this cooler purchase, I was supposed to get one dollar off my wine slushees. I have been a marina customer for over 10 years. One day... I forgot my wine cooler and the owner hesitated on giving me my one dollar discount. This is not the first instance of poor customer service that I or my friends have experienced. We came to Burnt Cabin Marina for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We were barely acknowledged after sitting at our table for 30 minutes. Multiple waitresses passed by our table. Didn't even order drinks before we decided to leave. (Table beside us waited for an hour and a half before they got their food.) Seem to be poorly staffed. Nice looking restaurant/patio/bar and nice store but we received terrible service today. Disappointed. read more

Great family run marina. Staff is friendly and helpful. The docks are nice and secure. We keep our boat there. They will help with some boat repairs, and will help winterize etc. Easy access to the gas pumps and the shop is always really well stocked with anything you could need in a pinch on the lake. You can rent the inflatable fun toys too! A big plus is the bathrooms are real bathrooms and clean. The restaurant is pretty good, especially the fried mushrooms. The main plus is that the docks are kept in really good shape, very clean. We've kept our boat here for a few years now and couldn't be happier. Family run makes a difference, they make a personal connection with their customers. Would recommend. One of the best marinas on Tenkiller. read more

Restaurant now called "le grub". Ticket time was 35 minutes with 1/3rd of tables occupied. Had 3 different tacos, the protein in each was dry and bland which is too bad given the fresh trimmings. Plenty of flies. read more

This place will rip you off big time!!! Reserved a boat for birthday party & had to pay $125 to book it. All other places just take a phone number to hold your spot. Our group drove all the way there to find it was underwater! Dumpsters full of trash were floating in the water. No signs posted or anyone directing the public to go elsewhere. Called the number on their web site and another number we had for them several times - no answer! E-mailed the address on the site for refund & the response I received was outrageous and still haven't been refunded my money. Called the Corps of Engineers and they were under the impression this place was closed until at least Labor Day. DO NOT LET THEM STEAL YOUR MONEY - there's plenty of other marinas on the lake and lots of lakes to choose from. This place used to be a nice place but I heard they changed owners and that's why they've gone downhill. read more
