This is our 11th year as part of the Rhythm family and each year just gets better than the last. I could not have picked a better studio for my girls. From the staff to the facility to the training -it has all been such a positive experience for our entire family. Becca and Dani (as well as the rest of their staff) work tirelessly to ensure that the dance instruction the students receive is first class. We call it our Rhythm family and that is exactly what they are. The relationships my girls and I have made will last a lifetime. I feel incredibly blessed to have such a fabulous studio in our area.

Will never forget this place. Dance Stop gave me so many memories, friendships, and experiences…read morethat I'll always carry with me. The teachers truly care about their dancers and push everyone to grow while still making classes fun and supportive. I learned so much here, not just about dance but also confidence and teamwork. Back to childhood. I adore Mrs. Kathy; she is an incredible instructor and so good with all the kids. She is very kind and always encouraged students to perform at the utmost of their ability and it was understood that it is always a pleasure to have Miss Kathy's praise. Miss Amy, however, was a different story. She was always 15 minutes late, and came to class with her hair in a ponytail. She would then proceed to take another 5 minutes to put up her hair and yell at the kids whose hair didn't stay in place or wasn't in a tight bun. (I found out later that she brushed her teeth at the beginning of every class...and it took 15 minutes. Hm...?) We spent another 15-20 minutes stretching, doing lots of exercises from before and then -maybe- learning one new move. I didn't learn much after several months, and that was when I started to dislike ballet from the boredom of every class. (FYI Amy left a while back. Hmm, I wonder why?) I moved onto pointe, and I loved it under Miss Forsberg (we called her "Madame"), until my toes started bleeding and I had to stop dancing all together. They say that you have to go under all this training for muscle memory, and yes, it does take muscle memory to become a good ballerina, but I thought it excessive. The studio also offers jazz and modern under Ryan Hall. What do I think? I think you should take your money and time to Atlanta Ballet, not here. I've been to both and AB is far superior in formal training and seriousness.

The routines are fire and very easy to follow and the instructors are energetic and patient. They walk you through each of the steps and it's a judgement free zone. After attending my first class, I could tell that they were big on community. Now, they said this during class but I didn't believe it until meeting everyone. You'll always see new and similar faces and again, people are so kind. Really, people are there to have a good time! I recommend, and can't praise its graces enough!

I'm of a certain age and I couldn't figure out the moves so I wanted to quit, until I realized I was getting in my own way. I wanted the joy the instructors and participants had. Then came Beyonce week. I went 3 times a week and have been hooked ever since. It's a healthy supportive community, my hubby says no matter how my day is going I leave there smiling. Come get your dopamine fix, you won't regret it. Also, for the first year I just came to the classes. They did not pressure me to do any of the special community events, I was busy with work anyway. I did one when I felt good and ready, I'm grown. So if you want to just go to a class or two, do it! It's changed how I show up at home, work, and my friends even joined me, joy is contagious. Once class is all it will take.

Kara Jacobson is a phenomenal instructor, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping each dancer grow. She creates such a welcoming and supportive environment, where I feel both safe and encouraged to push myself. Her focus on technique and alignment is just what I needed as someone starting later in life. Every class is challenging in the best way and leaves me feeling stronger, more graceful, and more confident. What I love most is how this space feels like a true community. The energy is positive, and the staff is friendly. Whether you're brand new to ballet or getting back into it, I can't recommend this studio enough. Coming here has been one of the best decisions I've made for my body and mind. I always leave feeling inspired!

I shared with her that I had no experience but was looking to learn in a fun environment. She recommended Mr.C's Beginners Ballet. I mentioned that I read the description and that the class was not a 101 class. She was friendly and encouraged me so I thought I would give it a shot. When I arrived I shared with the woman wearing glasses at the check in desk that this was my first time. She was short with me and I had to ask where to go until the class started. I came out before class started and mentioned it looked as though everyone had quite a bit of experience. The three women at the front including Sarah assured me that it would be uncomfortable but to give it a try. I even asked if Mr.C would yell and they all said no. I had and eerily similar experience to the other reviewers with no experience. I was berated throughout the entire class. Even while I cried Mr. C persisted on critiquing me. He moved my head and forced me to look at him. I also lost the will to continue when everyone had to dance across the room. As he was shouting that I had to do it I calmly said I had enough. I went to gather my thing and he thrust his hands at me and shouted, "NEVER COME BACK!" As I put my shoes on in the lobby not one of the three women said a word. I would not recommend TADA. My goal was to learn, not be humiliated. This is not ok for anyone. I have read the review responses on Mr.C's background and I don't think this serves as an excuse for rude and unprofessional behavior. Perhaps just be direct and let adult beginners know that this isn't the place to learn. What I did take away was a reminder that when you are an expert and someone is a novice to always be patient and encouraging. The world could use more patience and kindness.
