Seriously, the front desk staff, Sam and Emma, took time to answer my questions, and were funny, professional, and kind. Furthermore, I called the gym before arriving because I had misplaced my driver's license and thought I might have left it there the week before when signing up. Emma answered the phone, and immediately went to work looking for it. Well, it was home in a pair of pants in the laundry, so her search was fruitless, but since neither of knew that at the time, she promised to call me as soon as they found it. When I arrived at the gym later in the morning, they treated me like their long-lost uncle. While we were talking, everyone who passed the desk was greeted with real regard and warmth. Finally got around to my workout, and I am impressed with the facility. It is clean, well laid out, has a great variety of machines, cardio equipment, and a dedicated free weight area with plenty of squat and power racks, weights, and room to move. And get this: they have an outdoor, covered deck with cardio equipment and machines. I think they started it during Covid, and it stuck. I loved it. I was reintroducing my body to an elliptical trainer while looking out over a large, beautiful pond. Light breeze, warm air, and well-maintained cardio equipment. So yeah, I strongly recommend Toadal Fitness. They vibe is wonderfully welcoming and encouraging, the facility is clean and well maintained, and the location is perfect, close to the freeway and in the middle of town. At certain times of the day it can be difficult to access machines because some members do not move. This needs to change.

Weights, boxing and cardio are incorporated in every workout. Momentum days build up your endurance by increasing weights over time. Anaerobic days focus on 100% maximum effort. Durability days focus on endurance, maintaining effort over a period of time. If I was just reviewing them, I would give them 4.5 stars. However, the business side of this company is a disaster. They use a very weak software solution for scheduling and payments. Every time you want to do anything with this software, you have to wait for them to send you a code via email. It won't send it to your phone so you have to wait 5 minutes for the email, but not too long because it expires in ten minutes. If you make one appointment, it will automatically log you off and you have to wait for another code to arrive before you could try to make a second appointment or see if your first one really went through. They will send you an email when you have a payment due, but you have to do the login and code dance just to see the statement. Making appointments is very difficult also. For some reason, if I try to make an appointment online, it will only let me do it on a Wednesday, no matter how far out I look. Basically, their software only works for the people that work there. So you really need to just make appointments by calling the local office or when you are in the office.
