For being in the Milano Centrale train station this place is an easy decision. Our salad was packed with a bunch of fresh veggies from green beans, to cooked shrooms. Our pizza couldn't have been simpler but it was amazing. The dough was fluffy, sauce was made was in house (they tell you the tomatoes they put in that bad boy) and the cheese was light but appropriate. Can't beat the house white we got for 12 euro. Bread was included and the balsamic and EVOO was obviously on point. Service is exactly what you'd expect so don't except more. You're a tourist in a train station. read more

With limited options in the Milan Train Station, and an airport train to catch, we selected Rossopomodoro, and carried our bags up the winding staircase to their location overlooking the main hall of the station. It's quieter up there with relatively austere surroundings, that do offer a nice view of the station floor. We slected a Pasta in Cream Sauce and Chicken with Mozzarella. The chicken was good, quite good for "train station food". The pasta was unbelievably salty, bad even for train station food! The restaurant looked a little tired and in need of some cleaning and TLC. If we came back to this station, we'd likely opt for a different restaurant if available. read more

When you're on a rush and passing right by centrale make sure to hit up this spot for something salty or sweet. If you're in the mood for a brioche in the morning, definitely come by this place and take it to go! Otherwise, if you're craving a little salt, get a nice pizzetta (Napoli style!) and take it to go on your train ride, trip, or walk and eat! This little spot is delicious and their brioche are only €1 versus the usual €1.20-€1.50. They also make espresso or whatever else you would like! They accept credit card as well! came here for first Italian meal after coming from New York. we ordered about five different pizzas. I loved the pizza one with prosciutto! It was so thin and crispy! Also the marinara sauce was very fresh and not as salty as what I would find on American pizzas. My group even got another one with an egg on top. Adding an egg on top of a pizza makes a huge difference! It added so much creaminess to each of the slices that we ate. I also loved how this place was so accommodating for our group of six people and also so last minute since we were on our way to the duomo. They also got all of our orders correct and spoke English which was a definite plus. We also got our bottled water on. they were very accommodating especially with our group of 6 people. read more

Located within the centrale train station, it is a convenient place to stop for something to eat. The waitstaff is patient and helpful. The food always tastes good, better than expected for a train station, but throughout Milan there are higher quality/ more impressive taste options. The staff are conscious that some people may be eating before a scheduled departure and will work to get you through your meal quickly if necessary. read more

I had two options... Airport food or train station food. Train station food trumps airport food any day of the week!!!! This place is still pricy for the quality but at least the quality is decent. Not the best food but definitely much better than getting stuck in an airport. I got seated quickly, and the service was fairly quick. I had quite a long while before my flight so I needed to get something filling so I skipped the salads. Skipped the pizza because I had just came back from having awesome and cheap pizza in Napoli. I ended up getting one of their pasta specials. Not the most amazing pasta but it sure filled me up and was only 11 euros! read more

I came here after a friend told me that this was among the best pizza restaurants in Milan. After eating here, I don't think that's the case; it's not exceptional in any way - however it's not really bad either. The pizza is simply AOK. The décor is nice, and the service is pretty good; while you could do a lot worse, there are many better restaurants to eat at in Milan. read more

Pizza's taste good.. But I ate 2 times in two different locations of Rosso Pomodoro, and both times I had stomach ache because they were so difficult to digest. May be it's the kind of dough they use, or may be since the restaurant was incredibly crowded, they didn't keep the pizza enough in the stove... Anyway, I'll be eating pizza in other places. This is a MUCH welcomed and appreciated stop after a crazy backpacking day on the train. Nice clean space, homemade pasta... four stars because it's actually good stazione / train station food. I just can't deal with crowds at the other places nearby with mediocre sandwiches and no sitting area. Prices are reasonable as well. Thanks for saving my life.
