    Sounds yummy

While waiting for our ferry we decided to have a bite to eat at this lovely outdoor cafe. Everyone was so friendly and nice. Food was delicious. I would highly recommend eating here.

A nice view of the massive cruise ship in port from the outdoor seating area.

Had lunch here a couple of times and enjoyed it. Service was great; attentive and patient. Patient in the sense that we were rushed and were allowed to take our time to sit have drinks and then eventually get around to ordering meals. Premium location right along Sydney Harbour and if you grab a seat outside you can enjoy a nice view of whatever massive cruise ship is in port at the moment, or just people watch some of the wonderful cast of characters go about doing their thing around the wharf. There are a variety of places to choose from around the Harbour ranging from walkup takeaway to a little on the more finer side. This is pretty much right in the middle. Pretty decent variety on the menu for both food and drinks. Would recommend trying one of their pizzas for lunch next time your around the area and want to sit back and relax a bit for a good quick meal.

Lasagne comes with a salad - the lasagne has peas in it!

If reviewing location - it is super! Tip - ask to be seated on first floor - great view of bridge and opera house We ordered the lasagne and the carbonara The lasagne had peas in it (not really to our taste) but portion size was large - you could have shared. It also came with a small salad - lettuce, onion, tomatoes and pepper with a dressing on it The carbonara was shocking, swimming in butter which looked like olive oil and the sauce was congealed to the spaghetti (see the pic), a terrible dish and one I admittedly gave up on after only a few mouthfuls. Service wasn't great, probably because we requested the first floor mind - only 2 tables were occupied but as such it took ages to get drinks refilled and alert the server to the issues with the carbonara. I didn't chance a replacement. The server was asked for the bill and seemed to forget so we left the table and went to pay at the till on exit. What must have been the manager apologised for the dish and assured us she spoke to the chef herself - maybe we just had some bad luck with a bad dish

Enjoyed a nice breakfast here looking over the Sydney Harbour. The view is spectacular. Brother ordered Eggs and Bacon, mom ordered a cafe latte, and I ordered a panzerotto (donut filled with sweet ricotta cheese). The eggs and bacon were solid. Sunny side up eggs were cooked very well and the bacon wasn't too salty. Toast served on the side was pretty thick and filling. The panzerotto was delicious as well. Never had this type of donut, but I really liked it! The ricotta cheese was extremely rich and worked very well in countering the overly sweet donut shell. Try it out! The cafe latte didn't come out as hot as I'd like, but it was better than your average latte. Looking for a nice breakfast with a beautiful view? Check this place out!

Walked in for a late lunch and was told to pick any table. As we sat down at a table for four to have more space for our bags, the waiter approached us and told us tables for four were reserved for groups of four (it was just my husband and I).. you see normally I wouldn't mind, however the entire restaurant was empty apart from one other couple. And remained that way throughout our entire meal. Food is overpriced for what it is, but I guess that's what you get in tourist areas.

Perfect place if you've just arrived in Sydney - or you want a nice place to eat breakfast -not too expensive which is a nice surprise considering the proximity to the water/view - downside is the wait for coffee/drinks/food - don't go there if you're in a hurry - one upsetting factor is I ordered a child's portion spaghetti Bol and an adult size - both were exactly the same size but the price differed a lot - all in all though it's a nice place and the staff are lovely.

    The linguine carbornara

Had a pretty good Italian lunch here during a nice sunny day on the Quay. I had the linguine carbornara which was a little greasy at the bottom but overall good. Also ordered was the linguine mushroom which was reportedly good as well. Loved the piece of thin crispy fried cheese on the stop along with thick cut bacon. Right on the wharf at the Circular Quay, it offers great views and good for people watching.

We went 2 days in a row, it was so damn good. Spinach raviolis, garlic prawns and a supreme pizza. All were delightful!

For Starters, I got the Ora King Smoked Salmon Pate. For my Mains, I got Primavera Ravioli. For dessert, I got the Jamie's Black Forest Panna Cotta. Everything was soooo good! The ambiance was chic & cute, and the server was great! I honestly felt like I was back in the US for some reason!

My second and most recent visit helped extinguish that memory. Our waitress was very lively and sweet. She gave us plenty of time to look over our menus and made solid recommendations. I ordered the Spaghetti Alla Norma and it was pretty tasty. I also sampled some of the polenta chips which were surprisingly good. We opted to get dessert elsewhere but overall the food was pretty good. I'd like this place more if the prices were a little lower and they had more basic pastas available. I'm not a fan of seafood or mushrooms and can't handle spicy so I felt a little limited...although the pumpkin ravioli was tempting. Next time!

On Macquarie Street next door to the Land & Environment Court and across the road from the NSW Parliament. When you get to the Macquarie Street entrance walk down the stairs. You will be greeted by a friendly maître d and a similar layout to its Italian brother on Bridge Street. There is a bar and restaurant (Café Sopra) which offers delicious meals made with fresh ingredients. No fresh produce available at this Fratelli's. The restaurant was buzzing with suits. Which was to be expected due to its central business location! Loved the green chesterfield style seating and dim lighting. To start we got the zucchini fritters, burrata, and the cold meats plate. All very tasty. Then for mains i got the pork sausage pizza - i thought it was ok, hardly much pork on the pizza. I got to sample a few other pastas such as the lamb raguy and the polenta with mushrooms and gorgonzola - the polenta was very good! Lots of sauce and went really well with the polenta. For wine we tried the fratelli fresh pino grigio and it had more of a sharp after taste. Overall, I thought the food was good, I enjoyed all the entree's and the other mains except mine.
