The hygienist who took care of me was very thorough, explaining all of the cleaning procedures she was doing. She addressed the concerns I had about my enamel erosion (problems of someone who grinds their teeth in their sleep + avid coffee lover...) and again, I really appreciate how thorough she was with answering this question! She even took pictures of my teeth to help me see up-close of some teeth that had wear. The doctor came in at the end of the cleaning to examine my teeth, answered some more questions I had, and I was off on my way. Originally I didn't have much expectations since, IMO, the intro offer was a great deal, but their level of care blew me away. I have had no end of problems with the scored teeth ever since. Do not use this dentist as he is unethical. If you use this dentist and he starts vigorously scrapping your teeth with a dental pick during the exam he is scoring your tooth enamel to promote decay.

Two fillings had to be redone (I have some that are over 30 years old and going strong from another dentist) and a crown he did on me actually shattered when I was eating a potato chip. Turns out he put a delicate porcelain crown on a molar which is contraindicated for molars because of the chewing pressure exerted. I already had another porcelain-covered metal crown across from it (which is much stronger), so I'm not sure why he didn't go that route and I guess I assumed he had until it shattered. And I have a history of grinding my teeth--another good indication that a stronger crown was needed--his office even tried to get me to buy a biteguard for my grinding, so they were well aware of the grinding problem. Silly me, I thought he knew what he was doing, so I didn't ask enough questions. I ended up having to pay over $1000 for this same tooth in two years. My insurance wouldn't cover the 2nd crown at all; I did get Dr. Cheung to cough up 1/2 on the 2nd after giving him a hard time. At no time did he admit he'd done anything wrong--my new dentist said it was very dangerous to put a plain porcelain crown on a molar--that some of the shards could have ended up in my system, like little chunks of glass. I'm hoping to find someone good in the Kirkland area now that I've moved back into town. This time I'm asking LOTS of questions.

I don't even live in the area any more but make a point to coming in twice a year for my checkups. The staff is very friendly, and always make me feel very welcome. The office was recently updated with fresh decor and design. Dr. Cheung seems to keep the office appointed with the latest in technology and equipment. The front office is great with scheduling and i have never waited more than 5 minutes for my appointment. Recently they have implemented an automated text message system that informs me of my appointments. I have had a lot of work done here throughout the years and Dr. Cheung and his staff is very skilled and efficient. I trust that I am in the best hands. Going to the dentist seems to always carry a negative stigma, but I thoroughly enjoyment my visits.

It may be difficult to get accepted as a new patient here, as patients never leave! I especially appreciate his way telling me about a procedure before it begins, and letting me know what the costs will be before digging around in my mouth. Prices are reasonable, and patients are presented with OPTIONS for treatment. I know it sounds unbelievable, but it's true. I drive from Seattle for my appointments with Dr. Cahoon, and will continue to do so unless I have to move far away. And that would be a shame.

This location pretty much checked all the boxes for me and even more once I met the staff and was serviced by them. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I've worked with all three dentist there, Dr. Weaver more than the other two (he happened to always the available doctor for most of my visits). They are all amazing, Dr. Weaver especially. He was so sweet and nurturing (I'm a nervous wreck when it comes to procedures). I've moved back to CA, but still travel to WA for work. I still schedule my dentist appointments here when I'm on a work trip. That's how much I love this place and would much rather see them when I visit than finding a dentistry in CA. He's personable and he even remembers things about your kids to ask them. He makes them feel comfortable and the office is really bright and modern. At another office, before we found Dr Dudley, my daughter didn't even know who her orthodontist was because only the assistants saw her.
