When I moved to Weatherford, I decided to transfer my allergy treatment to Lone Star Ent and Allergy. They informed me that I would need 4 shots each month instead of one (meaning 4 bottles of serum). That translates to $2000+ a year for allergy serum as opposed to $500 per year. I don't recommend this practice. I'll have my out of town allergist produce my serum and ship to my primary care doctor in Weatherford who will administer my very effective one shot per month. I recommend searching for an honest allergist who listens to their patients and discusses treatment. There are options, but not all allergists allow options.

The first visit Dr. Khan looked at our records and the few he had access to. He quickly started making a game plan and following up with the specialists and labs that were needed. He made the necessary phone calls, he sent the emails, he sent the information that was needing to be handled. He did all this while we sat there listening to him bring everyone on board and up to speed. He made sure we thoroughly understood every step that was going to happen. He explained all aspects of what had happened, what was going to happen, and what led us to this point. Dr. Khan literally took phone calls late at night from the specialists. He made sure everything was handled sooner rather than later. I just can't say enough about his professionalism, his thorough explanations, and his complete dedication to his patients. The office is a nightmare, trying to get an appointment or a referral sent. They keep saying they will get the referral sent THAT day but when I call the next doctor's office they repeatedly say that they haven't received anything. When you call the office, you might get someone that can't help you or you might get an outgoing voicemail message telling you that leaving repeated voicemails will further delay your call back, one of which I have never received. I can't imagine just putting it out front to patients that you are there for your own convenience, not their needs, and that they can expect long waits, if ever, to have calls returned. This is a gastro specialist so people are not calling the office for giggles, they have actual needs and distress. We have been in referral and call back hell with these people for months, they do not care about patients very much apparently. In addition they called once to discuss the results of a scan they had ordered, but when the call was returned thirty minutes later the office was closed and they then told the PCP office that they had tried "several times" to reach with unreturned calls which was flat out not true. In fact "several" attempts were made to reach their office to return that one call and were not answered.
