An update, after COVID reopening, stock is fairly depleted, aka limited selection. Looks more like a going out of business sale than an on going concern. Hopefully they can restock soon!! Original Review from 2019. Ross is a store designed for the "hunter / gatherer " in all of us. something for everyone most days. Not always the best, but will do, because of the prices. That's the attraction. It's a place you can wander for an hour or so, then get upset you have to wait 10 minutes to check out. Of course, you wait in a maze of "impulse items" (that's what their merchandiser chart said). I didn't experience the bad things from staff, etc as noted by other helpers, i guess i'll have to be dragged back in by friend to see if my much changes. read more

Very condescending attitude of the cashier here at this Ross. I know you would rather be working literally any other job in the world, but the unnecessary rudeness took me for a loop today. I am a travel nurse, and I just got off a 12 hour shift and wanted to head to Ross to buy a cold winter jacket, since I am from the Hawaiian islands. Upon checkout, I asked the girl if I could push the cart to my car or is it the kind that lock up. We do not have this in Hawaii at many places (Target maybe), but it is common in the mainland so I wanted to ask. The cashier rolled her eyes, and responded with "well there's bars on the shopping cart for a reason, right?" And me not being from here did not quite understand what that meant. So I just said thank you, it was a yes or no question. She proceeds to rant that she gets off in 20 and she isn't thinking about my question. Like girl, I am not from here, but can tell WA isn't the friendliest. I did find a lovely winter coat. read more

Ross, love the store but you need to treat your employees better. I just learned they can't announce store closing time because the company feels it's rude?? Really, so the workers are going to stay open indefinitely till costumers feels like leaving the store.... seriously they have life too read more

There's something comforting about finding a store that provides consistency, and that's how I think McDonald's restaurants became famous with everything tasting the same across all generations. The cheeseburger you ate as a kid at McD's tastes the same as when you first became a grandma and all that jazz. Ross Dress For Less is no different. Same store, same look. Same prices here in Sequim as in Honolulu, Hawaii too. Same feel and layout. Didn't find what I was looking for, however. It was cold in the summer day (in the 50 degree F range) and I was looking for some sweat pants or warm long pants for my son but found out soon enough that 50 degrees was considered warm for the Sequim residents, hence no warm clothing. This Ross Dress for Less is convenient as it is located in the same lot as Costco, where we stopped to get gas. I'm basing my review on actual merchandise. I was very disappointed in selection for girls 5/6 or 7. I am here visiting my daughter so I don't live here. I have been to many different Ross Stores this was the worst. I was shocked because obviously this is a touristy town so why not get more merchandise? Visiting Sequim from out of town, I was so happy to buy a pair of jeans that fit, and for a great price. But ... after a few wearings I was noticing the waistband felt odd at the back, and found that the material had frayed and separated from the waistband for nearly 3"! I unpicked the bottom of the waistband to find that nothing was torn, just the fabric was insufficient on one side, and had been barely caught in the stitching. Totally defective. The jeans are labeled Nine West, but I cannot find any NineWest jeans to match the style (Gramercy curvy straight) when I look online, so maybe NOT really NineWest? All I see are "Gramercy skinny ankle" which these are not! read more

This hurts because I really did love Ross a lot. On multiple occasions the women there had been rude and disrespectful to me, my 67 year old mother, and even my neighbor. One incident , my mother had purchased heels and walked out. The cashiers made inappropriate comments about her and what she bought without knowledge that I was her son and still in the establishment. My personal experience has been when I asked about a bigger size women's shirt for my wife's birthday and the lady told me "Maybe since you're a man, shop over in the mens section". I let that one go at the time yet on a separate juncture, the same women told me that I "Don't need to buy all the jackets" and "Save some for someone else". I bought three. I don't understand why they're so impolite. The managers need to hire their employees more carefully. My family who all shop at Ross at least once a week will not be going to this venue from now on. Long story short, I bought a pair of pajamas for my one year old son and the original cashier missed the security tag. Yes, the alarm went off when I tried to leave but she met me at the door and swore she took all the tags off so it must have been on "the knives or something, just go - you're good." But when I got home I saw the security tag on a set of pajamas so the next week I went in and yes, the alarm went off and EVERYONE turned around, whatever. But the cashier who assisted me was more than obvious assuming I stole the pajamas. I was so embarrassed. I didn't steal your $15 pajama set, lady, I just wanted YOUR store's mistake fixed but SHAME on me for needing your assistance. I had a receipt folded in my wallet but since it's that thermal paper the ink tends to get wishy washy and she tried to tell me that it was no good but I insisted it was just fine, which it was JUST FINE. I'm tired of customer service treating me like I'm bothering them for giving my business. Never again, Ross. Never again. read more

Worst selection of all Puget Sound stores many empty shelves and poor selection compared to Silverdale or Tacoma

Huge store, empty shelves. I don't know why they can't get more merchandise as they certainly have the space for it. I frequent this store when I have nothing better to do. I usually leave empty handed as they never seem to "restock" the racks. read more

I love our Sequim Ross. The employees are always friendly, efficient and helpful. I want to give a special thanks to Katrina Wilkinson for her professionalism and honesty. She has run after me when I leave my credit card and returned a wallet with cash left in returned purse. The store is always clean and organized including the dressing room. Mr. Lusk, the manager, must be a good one. So thank you Ross. I find shopping there relaxing because of the people who work there. read more
