Kevin is a freaking awesome manager. Cracks me up and is always in a talkative mood. Super friendly and helpful.

I frequent this goodwill, it has its pros and cons, I think this con is worth pointing out. I walked in taking a drink from my bottle, closed it, grabbed a shopping cart and I hear on the overhead speaker as well as behind me in the most loud, obnoxious voice "attention, no food or drinks are allowed in the store. Thank you." from a man or woman, couldn't tell their voice was deep and masculine but could've been an old hag. They also sounded heavy set, so I guess he/she couldn't walk the 5 steps to me from the register to say hey! No food or drinks are allowed in the store. Like a professional.. with a public serving job.. a decent human being. I would've been like oh my gosh, I'm so sorry, I didn't realize! I'll go put it in my car. But I just shake my head and they yell "some people!" Huffing and puffing and making all these weird sounds. I literally did not touch my drink the rest of the time because I realized I was in the wrong. You attract more bees with honey. I get it, it's an incredibly miserable person. I empathize. But I've done customer service before, being that outrageous and passive aggressive... I don't know, I have better work ethic than that. Anyway, I walked around for about 30 minutes, I heard this person obnoxiously over the intercom numerous times, yelling at customers(yes I could hear THEIR voice from the back of the store, yelling at customers). Seems like a new hire, so I'm gonna be skipping coming here for a while, they have a high turnover rate so I'll be back in a couple months to try again. Besides that, there are a few awesome workers, the prices are okay, I've found some treasures here like a Bosch mixer for $20 when I was looking to buy that exact one and was going to spend over $300 on it. There are some things that are wildly overpriced for the quality/age. But every so often I run in and do a lap, see if there's anything worth getting. read more

The Goodwill is not good or bad. The employees are sometimes mean but some of them are nice. The items that they have are sometimes a little bit weird. Also the have a big selection of things that are new from Dollar tree or Target. The price for it is more then you buy it for at the store it self. read more

Used to be for low income families. For the past 10 years or more they "sort" in Tacoma bring back what they believe will sell here for $$$ it's a crock. Not for low income anymore. You can buy new for cheaper on a lot of stuff read more

Not the best selection at this Goodwill, but of course, it's based on what is donated. There is a giant over inventory of yesteryear clothing. I would say it is 80% of the store's overall inventory. Some new stuff is sold here on the end caps. Friendly cashier. read more

I have been dropping items off for years. Old dude came out and told me next time to give them a bin they can keep. Also they don't take new socks. Won't be going there anymore for donations. OK, it's not the biggest or awesomest Goodwill I've ever been to. But the pickings in Sequim are SLIM, so considering the location, it's pretty decent. The store layout follows the Olympics & Rainer store plan: women's and juniors' clothing in the front, men's clothing and books on the side walls, and a small selection of housewares, appliances and art at the back. Generally, these stores have more selection in women's clothing than anything else, and that's true of the Sequim store too. Often, these smaller WA stores have very, very limited art and furniture, but this one actually had a pretty good inventory of art, nicely displayed on the walls. Prices were kind of high, but they do have the weekly colored-tag discounts and occasional sales. While the store isn't big, it's pretty clean and organized. Don't expect an amazing thrifting experience, but if you're out in Sequim and feeling the urge to thrift, this location is just fine for a quick visit. read more

The prices here are still rather high, despite being out of the pandemic. The customers are still rude, the books are unsorted, aside from being in their respective sections (what are those $15 per hour wages for, if not better work). And there are still (at best) two cashiers on duty at any given moment. And, when you drive up to donate, one has to have a thick skin, as the attendant is rather bitter and sharp tongued read more

This Goodwill is so lackluster. On our drive thru Clallum County we stopped in Sequim to get some snacks and bevs. I almost shat myself at the sight of a GW because after visiting a few other smaller cities in Clallum Co., it was nice to see some civilization. Sequim isn't as small as it looks and the weather is spectacular. Anyway, after stopping at the Safeway we walked down to GW. Disappointed. They had like one small shelf of VHS, which I usually go for. The men's clothes were picked over and/or hanging...dangling even off the hangers. The furniture section was lame. It had a lot of exercise equipment for some odd reason. Appliances and knick knacks section was also lame and had a lot of dirty equipment. Not as bad as the GW in Des Moines, but it wasn't worth my time. read more

Easy drop off behind building with signs posted everywhere. With Goodwills in Seattle having so much overflow and varying open hours we finally just brought our donations out here when I had to come out to the peninsula for physical therapy anyway. Horrible disgruntled man who accepts donations in the drive through was Extremely rude,very aggressive. My family has vowed to never do business in the Sequim GW again after bringing some very nice items to donate. No hello, no thank you. Dumped items out of basket and tossed it at me and said we won't accept this. So we took our next donation to the Port Angeles GW. Very polite, professional . The pricing here is ridiculous, at times insulting. Anywhere from a little more than it's worth, more often than not plenty more than its worth, to same as new retail! BTW the same person here does the pricing for Port Angeles. (I won't even consider going there anymore, what a junk hole) I've mostly stopped coming unless in search for a specific item that is often donated. Speaking of donating, I've entirely stopped feeding this For Profit business, no more donations from me. Google facts about it, not the inflammatory email that goes round, but true facts and you'll find donating to local shops make more sense. read more

I went by one morning to donate a couple of bags of nice clothing, it was about 9am and a straggly looking young man came out and forbade me to leave the donations because they didn't accept anything until 10:00 Said he'd call the police if I put my bags down on the dock Ended up in a shouting match all because I was trying to contribute to a business that makes its profit from an inventory that is GIVEN to them... I'm actually unsure of what these people with negative reviews are referring to. I've lived in Sequim for a little over 3 years now, I fully furnished and decorated my apartment from this Goodwill, for an extremely small sum of money. I have purchased my entire wardrobe from this shop, for 99 cents a piece. If you wait, and go in often you will find a 99 cent rack where clothes and other oddities end up. I found an Alfred E. Neuman bronzed plaque for another 99 cents which I sold on ebay for $69.00 which was by far the most interesting find I've made there. I've bought taxidermy from this store (which was at least 75% below fair retail). I've also begun collecting old VHS at this store, I know own hundreds of movies and it cost me maybe 50 dollars. Long story short, if you aren't finding a good deal at this goodwill, come back the next day and try again then. It's a hit and a miss. read more

Didn't say hello or goodbye or anything, didn't offer a donation receipt (not that I wanted one anyway), all he did was say "what is that" to a metal medical step stool (the kind to help old people get in and out of a bathtub) then proceeded to chuck it in the dumpster before I had even turned my car back on. read more

The name of this store needs to change to BADwill. This is the 3rd year I've had interactions with the same man at the donation drive-up. He is rude and obnoxious. We took a very large delivery to the Sequim location on 7-9-21 as we were clearing out my Mom's house. We were only there 4 days so it was a rush, and we'd rented a small U-Haul van to do this. We're used to the extremely friendly helpers at our San Diego locations, where we usually drive up, & they bring out the bins and load them up. So we kind of expected the same. The middle-aged bearded man (notice I didn't say gentleman) pushed the bins over and stood back. So my husband got out, and was told he had to load them but not to overload them. He started to, and the man pulled the cart away. As my husband walked towards it, the man, in a loud angry voice yelled, "GET BACK TO YOUR CAR"! It startled both of us. So my husband asked me to come out and help. I'm disabled but was willing to help. As I placed items in one bin, the man then said "HURRY UP, THERE ARE CARS WAITING BEHIND YOU". I said some of this is glass and I don't want it to break, or give you broken items. I have a bad knee so I can't move fast. Some of these are valuable Fostoria glasses. He obnoxiously said, "then why are you donating them?" I said, "because we have to clear out my Mom's house, and we can't take them home." I have never dealt with such an a**hole that is supposed to be representing a donation store. If he is so angry, bitter, and bored, he needs to be put in another location where he doesn't have to deal with the public. I remembered him for the past couple years when I had dropped things off, that he severely lacked in any common courtesy. WE WILL NEVER EVER EVER BRING ANYTHING TO YOUR STORE HERE AGAIN. We still have half her house to empty out next month, and we'll be taking it to Serenity House, where they are kind, helpful, and grateful for the donations. read more

Today was the second time I've taken to the donation drop. The man receiving donations is less than pleasant. I wrote the first one off as he might have been having a bad day. Last time he was just curt. Today we stopped it seems not far enough forward (where the previous car had unloaded). The employee mumbled something that I didn't hear (masked mumble). He then said something about having signs for a reason as I started to place my first bag in the bin in a sarcastic tone. I opted to donate anyway this time but will not again. This is the second & last time. I understand Goodwill helps people with barriers to employment but being rude to donors isn't acceptable. read more

Terrible place to shop for a bargain. I'm referring to the Sequim location, but I have been told that it's the same at other locations.They are so overpriced, sometimes more than what I'd pay for new. It wasn't like that years ago. They have gone the way of so many business, it's all about the money and I believe most of it goes in someone's pockets rather than where it was originally meant to go. I will no longer shop or donate to them. Better to give to Serenity House. If enough people stop supporting Goodwill then maybe they will go back to the way they used to be and should be. A place where people with lower incomes can still get a bargain while still supporting a good cause. read more

I am a bit surprised at some of the prices sometimes. You can find great deals. Especially when you find one that's 50% off but there are also some things that seem very overpriced for what they are. Especially the rugs and some other random stuff. I do love that they offer a military discount on Wednesdays. read more

Been here a few times and it's hit or miss. I look for clothes and shoes when I come here. The prices are a little high IMO unless you get lucky and find something that is "like new" and is currently in style. Mostly the clothing and shoes seem outdated or too worn out to make it worth buying. read more

I quit shopping here. Prices are ALL OVER the place. Some kids clothing is more expensive than brand new at Walmart. Clothing is completely unorganized for kids which is frustrating. For a long time, every baby item of clothing I found had an ink mark in the same spot and I figured out that whoever was doing the price tags was accidentally ruining all the clothing! read more

Goodwill has not cut their prices, but instead is raising them. I don't see how they ever sell any clothes, rags, mostly.

I really liked this Goodwill. The restroom was quite messy so I helped out a little picking up after others before me, but that happens. I didn't quite find the old school Nikes I originally came in to search for but scored on new b.u.m socks, a pair of Roxy vans, a very nice brand new Smith & Hawken ladies hat, an Awesome white Nike golf hat, a nice ladies San Diego Hat Co. hat, and Awesome brand new books such as Prayers for our Country....I'm very pumped about and love! What a blessing! (God bless our U.S. Vets, U.S. troops and U.S. armed forces today), Angel Encounters-True Stories of Divine Intervention, and an awesome brand new set of three Douglas Wood Books originally 9.95 a piece but God blessed...only 2.99 for the set I am so excited to read them (way pumped!), hummmm.....they are so new and pretty I'm gonna wait for a special time besides they make a great interior decorating display (I think I get that from my auntie Barb-God bless aunt Barb today! :). I would like to thank God for the Goodwill in Squim, WA. Also I over heard what appeared to be possibly a supervisor ask the next cashier to fill in and my cashier said he wouldn't mind coming in for extra hours-I thought that showed an eagrness to go the extra mile and help the supervisor out, coo dos the cashier who helped me thank you and keep up the Awesome work at Goodwill in Squim, WA.
