I…read morewalked in taking a drink from my bottle, closed it, grabbed a shopping cart and I hear on the overhead speaker as well as behind me in the most loud, obnoxious voice "attention, no food or drinks are allowed in the store. Thank you." from a man or woman, couldn't tell their voice was deep and masculine but could've been an old hag. They also sounded heavy set, so I guess he/she couldn't walk the 5 steps to me from the register to say hey! No food or drinks are allowed in the store. Like a professional.. with a public serving job.. a decent human being. I would've been like oh my gosh, I'm so sorry, I didn't realize! I'll go put it in my car. But I just shake my head and they yell "some people!" Huffing and puffing and making all these weird sounds. I literally did not touch my drink the rest of the time because I realized I was in the wrong. You attract more bees with honey. I get it, it's an incredibly miserable person. I empathize. But I've done customer service before, being that outrageous and passive aggressive... I don't know, I have better work ethic than that. Anyway, I walked around for about 30 minutes, I heard this person obnoxiously over the intercom numerous times, yelling at customers(yes I could hear THEIR voice from the back of the store, yelling at customers). Seems like a new hire, so I'm gonna be skipping coming here for a while, they have a high turnover rate so I'll be back in a couple months to try again. Besides that, there are a few awesome workers, the prices are okay, I've found some treasures here like a Bosch mixer for $20 when I was looking to buy that exact one and was going to spend over $300 on it. There are some things that are wildly overpriced for the quality/age. But every so often I run in and do a lap, see if there's anything worth getting.

Theres a variety of items including clothing, records, books, kitchenware, fabrics, decorations, art, jewelry, sporting equipment, video games, manga and more!! They also sell locally made items and crystals. Overall this shop is a hidden gem and I always make a point to visit every time I'm in the area. There is something for everyone here. :)

Turns out there's a lot to see in this store! As you come in, the main front room has some housewares, men's and women's clothing and accessories. Another room toward the back has books, movies, and music, and a smaller room has furniture and more books and movies. The clothing selection isn't huge and was kind of old-but-not-vintage, if you know what I mean. I wasn't blown away by anything we saw and couldn't find anything to buy. However, the lady working the counter guessed my boyfriend's size correctly and went to the back to see if they had any blazers or jackets in his size, so that was nice of her. Prices seemed kind of high for what they had, often several dollars more than a similar item would be priced at Goodwill. The best part of this store was the books/music/media. They had a surprisingly large selection of new literary fiction and book-club-type books at reasonable prices -- definitely worth checking out. There are also some fun random things, like the train-rides-of-the-world VHS set or the bins of vintage cookbooks. The way the furniture area is set up, it feels like a cozy reading nook, and they probably wouldn't mind if you sat down to flip through a book or two! After we left, I was hovering outside and checking out the donut stand, and the owner came out and coaxed us into coming over and trying an apple fritter. I mean, who can resist a homemade donut with homemade icing? The donut was dense, cakey, with tasty apple chunks and very sweet icing. A decent thrift store, worth stopping if you're thrifting in the area. And the little donut stand outside is good for a coffee and a sweet treat if you need a pick-me-up!

This odd little shop consists of a small house and an outdoor tent area. The front room is more what I'd call gifts and collectibles: costume jewelry, cheap toys, and novelty items (like those plastic plant beads that you're supposed to use instead of potting soil). The back rooms have more thrift-store-type used stuff: a couple of small racks of coats and clothing, but mostly old VHS tapes, books, and music. They do have a fair amount of $1 books, but many are old and dated without exactly being vintage/antique. The employee was intently watching the end of a movie when we walked in and didn't bother to greet us, but later got into a heated discussion with another customer about the type of engine on a used car the customer was trying to get the owner to buy, or something. The shop is so small that you can't escape anyone's conversation, so... it was pretty awkward. I guess this is a thrift shop in the sense that there are inexpensive used items for sale, but it appear to be a privately owned place and makes no mention of any proceeds going to a charitable cause. If you really want to thrift on the peninsula, I suggest you keep on going to Port Townsend, which at least has a Goodwill.

I was so bummed and had no idea what to do until I passed this little gem and decided to see what I could find. I was so happy to have found a pair of shoes that worked for hiking and some other great stuff. Really nice folks and the mission statement of this place is one of a kind! reduce reuse recycle vibes. Great little place for the thrifter in you or just to find some really good bargains. Most of the…read morestaff here are supper friendly and the atmosphere is very low pressure to buy or sell. Great place to bring all your stuff for someone else to enjoy verses going into the land fill. But make sure it's not "wet, broken or dirty" because they most expect it if it is. Overall been coming here for years and have always found stuff for myself or my son's side hustle of a re-sale business. Have a blessed year everyone
