As others have said, this store is completely a rip off and should be investigated. Something of mine sold for $7 but they give you no money until you have a $10 credit no matter how long it's been that you only have $7. For me, almost a year. I went back last month, still no $7. I brought 2 pair of brand new pants in that I didn't care for. They have not "sold " supposedly and still can even get the $7. I could have my pants back, but could not find them. And I was told the consignment clothing has a "shelf life" and I don't know where it goes. Once I was told 2 t-shirts were thrown away. I kept going back. NEVER AGAIN. YES the staff at the counter is very nice, but who ever is the person in charge is an unkind human being. read more

I brought in several pair of Gloria Vanderbilt jeans in very good condition. I was told they could only take 5 items. I said I do not want them donated, if they don't sell, and I will pick up. After the 3 months most of them sold, but I couldn't pick up the check till after the 10 of the next month. I got $12 and was told that another item had sold but I couldn't get paid for that one till ofter the 10th of the next month. I then removed the unsold items and I then placed 3 items for sale. After a couple months only one had sold, so I told them they could keep the unsold items for donation, as I wanted to place 5 more items for sale. I was told that until all 3 items sold I could not place anything else, and I could not donate these items, as I had said in the beginning that I wanted to pick up unsold items. They said it had to be either pick up or donate everything that I ever bring in. I had money coming for the sold item, which I could not get, as it was under $10, and they will not write a check for under $10. They said I had to take store credit. The store owner acted like I was inconveniencing her by removing items prior to the 3 month limit, to put in new items, even though her employee had told me previously that I could. I would have left them had I known she would not take more items. Also the owner was annoyed that my desire was to pick up unsold items instead of letting them donate to the charity of their choice. I had told them I wanted to donate my unsold items to my charity for its upcoming sale. Very unfriendly, unhelpful owner. I do not recommend placing items for sale with them. read more

Totally an Awesome place to shop! Variety, price and selection. Everyone is soooo kind and helpful. It's more than a place for clothing- 'A Gathering Place' among friends. This is truly a COMMUNITY store with great Spirit. You always feel valued and go away happy, uplifted and a part of something wonderful. Looking good too-wink, wink! In 2021 I left a dozen sun hats from Sunday afternoon in practically new condition with this consignment. About 6 months after I left them back in 2021 I went to the store and inquired if they had sold. I was told at that time that all of them had sold and that I had a $64 check coming to me. She said however the owner is not here today who does the checks and I needed to return on a different day to collect my check. The reason why it is now July 2024 and I'm writing this review is because I had forgotten about the things I had left until I stopped by Safeway today and parked in front of the store which jogged my memory that I had never picked up my check. I went into the store and explained this to the woman who I realized at that point was the owner. She asked me for my name which I gave her and she looked me up in her computer. I have a distinctive first name which is Mare. She said yes I see you here and I owe you $57. She then told me that she didn't have her checkbooks with her but they were out in her car and saw that I was getting ready to go shopping. So suggested I go do my grocery shopping and come back when I was done and she'd go and get the checks. Which is what I did and returned in about 20 minutes or so. Apparently she had forgotten and had to go out while I was there again to get her checkbook. When she came back she looked in the computer and then wrote out a check to me. The check she handed me was for $40.76. I then asked her why I was getting a check for only $40. And she said because that's what's on her computer. I then said you told me that you owed me $57. She then asked me when she told me that. And I said about 20 minutes ago when I was just here. I also then informed her that when I originally inquired 6 months after I had left my items if they had sold that I was told yes they all had sold and that I was to receive a $64 check. So now we go from $64 to $57 and now to $40. I then asked if you are penalizing me for being late. Said no that's just what the computer showed her. And I said well are you missing some other part cuz a few minutes ago it was $57. She then stated that she must have had someone else that she was looking at. Which is why I mentioned that my name is distinctive so I found that hard to believe. Further, she did not offer to have me come around behind the counter and show me what was on the screen to verify what she was saying. Obviously she did not even remember that she had just given me a price of $57 20 minutes ago nor had she gone out to her car to get the checks while I was gone. Needless to say I would give her zero stars if I could for dishonesty. I will never, ever leave a consignment with her again nor will I shop in her store and anybody that asks me about consignment stores in Sequim I will make sure they hear this story. The owner can write some retort or excuse but I think my review speaks for itself as to how this owner conducts her business dealings. read more

UPDATE: return to ask for my $37. Owner told me i was trespassing and they had a police order against me. I went directly to police dept to verify and was told no such trespassing order existed. They will say anything to steal from you. Next step court. read more

The ladies working here were chatting when I walked in and nobody greeted me or said a word the whole 5 minutes I was inside. Selection was dismal and hopefully if you consign stuff here they actually provide better customer service than if you are just browsing around. They had some cute socks in the window but they were not accessible once you were inside. Oh well, guess they didn't want my business since nobody bothered to even come over after I was clearly straining to see the socks in the window. read more

ive gone here for almost 10 years or so. always have an amazing experience. i always find amazing things, plus the owner and her employees are always the sweetest people. they're very close and caring with their locals. most of my closet is from lucky star, and when i go out i always get compliments one the one of a kind or vintage adorable clothes i get. along with getting dirt bike boots, hiking shoes, vans, earrings, even some old vinyls and cassette tapes. (also always such a good radio station on in there) growing up i'd hang out inside a lot. home life wasn't the best and that store was just so cozy. it's an amazing small town shop that i will go to every time i'm feeling like spoiling myself. along with all the clothing they except has to be clean along with no holes, they get a lot of name brand stuff along with some rare oddities. it's a perfect little thrift store. read more

Don't bother. I stopped at the counter for information, and the manager never even looked up from her adding machine. I was the only person in the store. I had a collection of beautiful vintage dresses and formalwear to consign. After standing there unacknowledged for way too long, I finally asked if she could help me. She answered "What do you need?" without even looking up. I tried again to engage her attention, saying hello and that I'd like to place some items... Honestly, she never made eye contact with me once. She said "I can do this and answer your questions at the same time." No. You can't. Consignment here is not pleasant. Manager is brusque and unfriendly. Was not given a receipt for what I left until I came back several days later and demanded one. When we came to pick up what hadn't sold three months later, was told we had to go out on the floor and find it ourselves!! And to get a check for what had sold, the manager had to be there and had to come back in person! read more

Total scammer! I brought tons of Elvis Presley and marylin monroe collectibles and books to be sold their at the prices I chose to list them at. Totalling over $400.00. Some of the life story books were worth almost a hundred by themselves. She never gave me a transaction receipt or history. Not even a detailed inventory list of items she accepted to sell. You'd think that would have been important for both parties. To help track product. After she ignored my calls and inquiries for almost 6 months of the first sale, she had the nerve to hand me a check for $56 and said that was for everything. She's a crook that takes advantage of people for her own personal gains. She robbed me blind. Im so upset I will never step foot near that awful crooked sloppily run business again. I've visited this store on three different occasions. Each time the owner/employee was engaged in a conversation with a friend; laughing and talking. My presence was not once acknowledged in any way. A greeting would have been nice. As I walked around the store, I saw nothing of interest. I looked at a few prices which seemed quite high for used clothing. First time in here a few days ago. I thought the clothing was nice, clean and good quality. Prices were very affordable. I wasn't greeted when I came in but was treated nicely when I asked to use the fitting room and when I purchased my items. I really like that I can get "like new" clothes and not pay a lot of money. Don't consign here. I had to stop by 3 times to finally receive payment. It was clear that management either hoped I would forget to return or become too annoyed so I would forfeit my percentage. They also lost one item of mine without selling it. When I inquired about it, she asked, "Is it really that big of a deal?" It was my property and Lucky Star lost it. So, yes it is. read more

I decided to bring some gently use clothing to this store, their rule is that if the items do not sell within a certain period of time they will be donated to a charity, I agree so there was not an issue, after 2 months all I had sold was a blouse for a small amount I believe a bit over $1 I then brought 2 pairs of children shoes 1 brand new with tags, Polo Ralph Laurent size 2 youth and a almost new pair of canvas Keen sandals green also size 2. I was told that I have $2 for the sale oof the new shoes? they get 50% so they sold them for $4.00 and when I asked for the Keen shoes they tried to give me a pair of plastic keen shoes size 11toddler, I had a picture of the shoes on my iPhone which I showed to the owner and she just told me that she did not know anything about it, and that what was in their inventory so I lost my shoes, they sold them and she is not making herself responsible. She promised to talk with her employee and then call me, she did not. Her employee admitted to me that she remembered the shoes and that maybe some body change the tags. Should not them be able to check in their inventory and find who stoled the shoes? all I got was a hang up on the phone. BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS they will not take responsibility for items lost due to their incompetency. read more

It's a good place! We stopped in here last year and my daughter and niece loved the store and appreciated the airbrush tattoos they were given. When we came back into town this year it was one of the first places they wanted to go. We bought a lot of fantastic clothes and shoes there. Good quality! I brought in 3 bags of gently used and new name brand clothing to this business. When I brought the bags in the owner was rude, hardly made eye contact, and seemed inconvenienced that I was bringing in items for her to sell. When I asked her how it worked she handed me a piece of paper that had some information on it but was un-intersted in educating me or even giving a smile. I gave her the benefit of a doubt that she was having a bad day, as we all do. A month later I came in after the 10th at about 2:30 to see if I had a check to pick up. She was leaving for a Mariner's game and didn't have the time and told me to come back another day. I live outside of the area and it is not convenient for me to drive into town so I waited until this month (June) to drive in. After waiting at the counter for 3 minutes waiting for someone to help me she said to her daughter, "go see if that lady needs something." When I asked if I could pick up my check the owner said she was too busy giving tattoos to her grandkids and that I could come back later. Terrible service and rude owner. I will never shop here or bring clothes again in the future. Is it really that hard for people to do their job? read more
